"He's gonna do something stupid."
Laxus looked over at Galatea, intrigued.
"Why are you saying that?" Laxus said, "Isn't he a former Wizard Saint?"
"Yeah, but he's battling Jura with copied magic." Galatea said, "He can't defeat Jura because he's not using his own magic."
"Then why doesn't he use his own magic. We came here to win." Gajeel said.
"Because Jellal is the only person recorded to have used Heavenly Body Magic in the past 45 years." Galatea explained, "It'll blow his cover. Jura and Jellal met when he was a Wizard Saint, so he'll recognize it."
"So we're done for, either way." Gajeel grumbled.
"Yeah, and he's probably gonna try and use it since Erza's watching." Galatea said. "We're done for."
As predicted, Jellal ended up losing due to Ultear's interference, though Galatea couldn't blame her. They couldn't risk exposing Jellal's identity, not after all the work they had been doing.
"Great, we're in last." Laxus said, "Way to kick off the Games."
"We've still got the rest of the tournament, no need to be so down." Mira said.
"Yeah. Besides, I have a feeling we'll have the Tag Battles in the bag." Galatea said.
"Tag Battles?" Mira questioned.
"It's 2v2 battles that happen on the fourth day. I have feeling they'll be wanting to see a bunch of the Dragon Slayer's duke it out, and we have three on our team so we have a high chance of competing." Galatea grinned, "And I'd love to pummel those arrogant Tiger's faces in."
"I'd like that too." Gajeel grinned, "I wanna have a go at the shadow kid."
"I like the way you think." Galatea commented, giving Gajeel a toothy grin.
"You both are nuts."
"Pathetic."
Galatea stifled a laugh, taking another sip of her gin as Evergreen and Bickslow collapsed from drinking on the floor.
"You idiots should know better than to challenge Cana's drinking abilities." Galatea mused, as the aforementioned Card Mage wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
"I must say Tea, I never expected you to be the heavy drinker. You drink as much as my old man!" Cana cheered. "You're my official drinking buddy now!"
"You're a strong drinker, huh, doll?"
Galatea and Cana looked up at a strange-looking man in purple armour.
"Huh?" Cana said.
The man slammed his glass on the table before leaning down.
"Why don't we see who's stronger?" The man challenged.
"I don't know who you are, but you're challenging me to a drinking match?" Cana asked, interested.
"Of course, would your stunning friend join us as well?" The man said, his eyes landing on Galatea.
"I'll pass. I should probably call it quits soon." Galatea said, not liking the guy's vibe. "Cana, get him."
Galatea walked over and joined Laxus's table, putting her chin on her hand.
"What should we plan for tomorrow?" Galatea asked.
"No clue. We shouldn't be so pathetic though, that's what." Laxus said.
"Yeah, but Ultear had her reasons and it's not our fault the Ravens keep targetting us." Galatea said, annoyed. "That porcupine idiot makes me angry."
