The spell slammed right into Horatius, and his body was enveloped entirely in radiantly blinding violet light. Several people had to cover their eyes as it was so bright it was stinging their eyes even with their eyes closed.

Those who could keep their eyes open, particularly Laxus, watched as Horatius's body was ripped to shreds. A boot and a whip hit the ground, the only remaining traces of his body.

Horatius Fay was dead. The King of Time was no more.

Laxus's eyes snapped up to his girlfriend. He noticed the unfamiliar sceptre leave her hands, as the clouds returned to normal. Almost in slow motion, he watched as her body slumped backwards as she began to rocket towards the ground.

Several shouts of shock and horror emitted from the crowd. More than a few people started running towards her, but he was the closest. Through use of his ever-efficient lightning body, Laxus landed right under Galatea. His knees buckled and he was forced to a kneeling position as Galatea's body landed harshly in his arms.

He lowered to the ground, setting her on the ground as he unbuttoned his shirt and threw it over her unconscious body. She needed medical attention, and a change of clothes. Horatius's torture had left her practically half-naked, and he didn't like having her so exposed when she didn't want it in the first place.

"Oh my god Tea!"

Laxus turned over his shoulder to see the Thunder Legion, with Wendy and Chelia trailing behind slightly. Freed and Bickslow dropped to their knees, while Evergreen stopped just shy of Laxus's shoulder.

"Come on, stay with us." Laxus whispered, attempting to find her pulse. He winced when he had to wipe blood away to find an unopened vein near her wrist.

"Out of the way! Healer's coming through!" Chelia yelled, as her and Wendy approached.

Bickslow only just barely moved to the side as Wendy and Chelia skidded to a halt, sliding onto their knees. As soon as they stopped, both of their hands flared up with blue and pink magic respectively. The two girls quickly began trying to heal Galatea, tears in their eyes.

"Wendy." Freed called, as the two girls continued to push their magic.

"What?" Wendy asked frantically.

"We need to re-write her runes.. She could be in worse shape if we don't." Freed said, his eyes looking at her already bloody legs.

"But what about healing?" Wendy protested.

"Chelia-san can heal while you and I write her runes. Evergreen, if you wouldn't mind going and getting Juvia? We need to wash the blood off her legs to write the runes." Freed stated, leaving no room for arguments.

No sooner did her finish his words did Evergreen run off, and after a moment of hesitation, Wendy stopped her healing magic and shuffled over to help begin writing the runes on the patches of blood-free skin. Both Freed and Wendy shifted uncomfortably deep dread and uncertainty filled their stomachs as their shaking fingers dipped into Galatea's open wounds to retrieve their ink for the process.

As Laxus looked away for just a moment as the uncomfortable smell and sound of vomit hitting the ground, he spotted Nari appearing out nowhere. Her eyes wandered around frantically, before spotting the healing effort on and teleporting over. She only managed to just miss landing on the pile of Wendy's vomit.

"Is she okay? Tell me she's fucking breathing." Nari snapped.

"She's breathing rough. Unconscious and bleeding, but she'll make. I'll make sure of it." Chelia said.

"I take it Spatial Magic is coming back?" Bickslow asked.

"A bit. Yukino and the blonde one weren't able to access their's either. Mine only came in a minute ago." Nari said, eyes peeling to the two runes that had been written on. "Probably ya'll's doing."
