It was a calm morning, with the golden rays scattering across the floors. The calm, serene morning was shattered by the loud sound of bickering.
"GIVE ME BACK MY CLOTHES IDIOT!"
"NEVER!"
Laxus chuckled, very much used to Bickslow and Evergreen's bickering. The woman next to him, was not. Galatea rubbed her face on her hands and sighed, picking up her cup of coffee and taking another sip.
"They are just supposed to be packing their stuff away, how are they arguing this early in the morning." She muttered, very much grumpy and tired.
"They are always bickering, you get used to it eventually." Laxus said, taking another sip of his coffee.
"I don't know if I want to get used to it." She grumbled.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Evergreen shrieked.
Galatea pinched her nose bridge, and in the blink of an eye she had disappeared through a portal.
Laxus grinned as he heard two loud thunks which sounded a lot like Galatea smacking the backsides of their heads. Which was impressive in itself seeing as Galatea was a good seven inches shorter than Bickslow.
"What the hell woman?" said Bickslow in a muffled tone.
"IF YOU TWO DON'T SHUT UP AND JUST PACK YOUR SHIT, I AM GOING TO LOCK YOU IN THE PORTAL REALM UNTIL YOU GOING FUCKING INSANE!"
Laxus chuckled at the very pissed off dragonslayer lecturing the two bickering friends.
A lull of silence filled the house, and a portal opened up in the kitchen. Galatea walked out of it, returning with the cup of coffee still in her hands.
"What did you do?" Laxus asked, amused.
"Kicked Bickslow in the stomach and smacked Ever on the back of the head."
"Because you can't reach his head?" Laxus teased.
"Listen, I just smacked two people without spilling a drop of coffee, I'm not afraid to do it again." Galatea said, annoyance still in her tone.
Laxus nodded, finding the whole situation very amusing.
"The study and bathroom are all cleaned." Freed said, stepping into the kitchen. "Is everyone packed?"
"We are and so is Bickslow." Galatea said, "But Ever isn't because Bickslow stopped cleaning your guys room to bother her. I yelled at them so hopefully Bickslow will get with the program."
Freed chuckled.
"So what is left to do?" Freed asked.
"Well, wash the dishes form breakfast and clean the guest rooms." Galatea said, "And I have to go through the cupboards to make sure I don't leave any perishables behind."
Freed nodded.
"Is there anything I can do?" Freed asked.
"No, you're good." Galatea said, "As long as your luggage is at the front door, you can just relax until we're ready to leave."
"Sounds good, I'm gonna read while we wait." Freed said, exiting the room.
Laxus stepped away from the counter he was leaning on, and turned his whole body to face Galatea.
"Are you done with your drink?" Laxus asked, his free hand outstretched.
"Give me a second." Galatea said, downing the remainder of the coffee. "Here you go."
Laxus took the mug from Galatea, and put them in the sink with the plates from their breakfast that were soaking.
"I'm gonna get dressed then I'll come check for perishables." Galatea said.
