Waiting was painful. Days had ticked by with no words from Galatea, who after a successful nearly six hour treatment (and a surgery), had fallen asleep. That was five days ago. The Council had been reluctant in letting any mages stay around past the adjuring of the meeting surrounding Horatius and Galatea, but upon reassurance that members of resident destructive team in Fiore would be heading home helped persuade them. Only the Thunder Legion and Team Shadow were staying around, in part due to the fact that Amber's uncle was a councillor. Had it not been for him, they likely would not have been granted permission.
Granted, despite being affiliated to Fairy Tail, Porlyusica was also granted space to stay, along with her two helpers. Wendy and Chelia had stayed by at first, but Porylusica sent them home. Not until Galatea was properly stabilized was her final decision.
"I'm back with the goods."
Porylusica turned over to look at Nari with even more annoyed expression than normal.
"Do not refer to the children as 'the goods', brat."
"Whatever Granny."
Wendy and Chelia gently deposited their bags near the door as Nari blinked out of the room and went off to god-knows-where. Porylusica was standing next to Galatea's bed, busying herself with organizing and cleaning equipment. As the two young Slayers approached the bed, they felt themselves holding back. A thin blanket was pooled around Galatea's waist, as a tank top dress covered her body. Every centimetre of her arms were wrapped in bandages, and thick bandages were covering her eyes. She looked pale, but at least they could see her normal breathing.
"How is she?" Wendy asked, putting on her apron and gloves, Chelia doing the same as her.
"Better. She's still a while out before I feel comfortable enough to bring her back to Magnolia." Porylusica said.
"What can we do to help today?" Chelia asked.
"I want to try healing her eyes today." Porylusica said, "We have to be careful and do it slowly."
"Guide us." The two girls said at the same time.
Porylusica reached and began unwinding the bandages from around Galatea's eyes. A long scar, jagged and a strange grey in colour, ran horizontally across her upper face, focusing on her eyes and top of the bridge of her nose.
"It is infected by some dark magic. I require your magically healing to remove whatever is keeping her eyes from healing and possibly making the cut inflected." Porylusica explained.
"Okay." Wendy said, looking at Chelia with a little bit of confusion. "I've never done this before..."
"Well, we have it to try! We are healers!" Chelia commented.
"Right!"
Porylusica watched as the two young girls activated their healing magic and tried to find the source of Galatea's ailment. The older healer watched as the two younger healers grew frustrated as they failed to find the source.
"I brought the other goods." Nari suddenly called as she 'popped' into the room.
Porylusica looked up to see Amber holding onto Nari's bicep, and strangely the teleportation mage looked a little pink which was out of the norm for the stoic-or-pissed woman.
