Galatea laughed, narrowly dodging a blast aimed for her foot. Bickslow was right by her side, jumping off his dolls to dodge as well. You might ask, why were they doing this? Well, it had to do with certain fairycore woman chasing the both of them around Magnolia.

"STOP RUNNING YOU IDIOTS!" Evergreen yelled, pelting them with another round of magic bullets.

Galatea dropped through another portal, popping up several rooftops away.

Waiting for Bickslow and Evergreen to catch up, she stopped for a moment to catch her breath. It was fantastic to be moving around freely like this again. Makarov had forbidden her from going on jobs without his clearing, in order to make sure she took enough rest before going on a new job. She knew where he was coming from, but she didn't entirely enjoy having to stay around Magnolia while others went out and took jobs.

"Tea, MOVE!" Bickslow hollered.

"Move~! Move~!"

Galatea looked up to see Bickslow sprinting towards her, at fullspeed with Evergreen hot on his heels. She cursed, straightening up before booking it across the rooftop. Magnolia's shallow slanted roofs made them excellent for running across, and this way, they wouldn't be disrupting the citizens as they ran around.

"I am going to kill you two! Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun!"

Bickslow's eyes darted over to Galatea's who was in the direct line of fire of Evergreen's attack. Making a split second decision, he launched himself off one of his dolls and got close to Galatea. As soon as he was in arms reach, he swung his arms back and pushed her off the roof.

Galatea froze as she felt gravity drag her down. A voice in the back of her head was yelling, screaming at her to open a portal beneath her, but she didn't listen to it. She couldn't.

All she could see was that deserted cliffside, its jagged rocks and untouched hiking path. The pristine crystal blue sky with only a few white clouds dotting it, and the occasional chirps of the words. The wind from her fall became the breeze gently blowing on her face as she stood along on those cliffs.

The cliffs...

Disoriented words of assurance and mild lecturing fliltered in and out of her ears, the voices ranging from Jellal to Luke, and then back to the reassuring voice of Vivi.

"I'll always be by your side, Tea.",  she used to say.

She used to say...

Galatea's mind was long gone, her body frozen and tense, not even reacting to the ever-approaching ground. Townspeople screamed and hurried to do something, anything. She had come out of nowhere and wasn't responding to anything.

Just before she hit the polished cobblestone streets, two wooden dolls scooped up behind her and kept her from hitting the ground. The shoved her upright onto her feet, and she blinked in confusion.

What the fuck... where am I?

Galatea looked around, to see the townsfolk of Magnolia looking at her with relief. They gave her some weary smiles and continued on with their days.

Oh right, Bickslow pushed me off a building... I don't know where my mind went.

Two thumps landed next to her, making her look over to Bickslow and Evergreen who were looking at her with concern. Whatever Evergreen was mad at them for had dissipated, the two of them focused on Galatea's lack of reaction earlier.

"Tea? You good?" Evergreen asked, pressing a hand to Galatea's forehead to look for any sign of a fever.

"I'm fine." Galatea said, regaining her barings. "Why'd you push me Bickslow?"
