Galatea panted slightly, feeling the cool night air on her skin. All of the dancing had tired her, and made her feel really warm. She and Laxus had left the dance floor a few minutes ago. Laxus was going and getting drinks for them, while she was waiting for him on the balcony.
Laxus...
Galatea thought about the man that plagued her thoughts. Dancing with him felt like heaven, and she never wanted to stop.
"You look nice." Laxus commented, walking onto the balcony.
"Thanks. Tonight has been great." Galatea said softly, staring up at the stars above.
Laxus nodded, passing her a flute of sangria. She graciously took it, taking a sip of the fruity drink.
"What did you talk about with Sting?" Laxus asked, "I noticed you were talking with him for a long time."
Galatea shot a quizzical look at the blonde. As far as she could tell, Laxus wasn't around when she was talking to Sting. She was sure he was off eating with Freed and Bickslow at the point.
"Oh, well he apologized for Sabertooth's actions against me in the past. And for hitting on me all the time." Galatea explained, "He's planning on turning the Guild back to way it was when I was there. He wanted my council."
Laxus looked at her for a moment, before speaking up.
"Are going to go back? To Sabertooth?" Laxus asked, an unreadable expression on his face.
Galatea shook her head.
"No. Fairy Tail's my home now." Galatea said, "Though I am glad I can go back and visit my old friends again. Sting said that I can come and visit anytime And besides... it wouldn't feel the same without Vivi."
"That's good." Laxus said, "For a second I was worried you were going to leave."
"Why?" Galatea asked.
Laxus looked away.
"I didn't want to lose you." Laxus whispered.
Galatea looked at him, with surprise painted on her face.
"What?"
"I didn't want to lose you, Tea." Laxus said, turning to face Galatea.
Galatea's eyes widened.
"The truth is, you make feel things I've never felt before." Laxus said, almost nervous with words. "I don't know why or how, but I- I want to spend as much time as I can with you."
Galatea smiled, setting her drink down on the railing and walking closer to the tall blonde.
"I know you may not feel the same, but-"
Laxus was cut off by Galatea's hands gently landing on his cheeks. He stared at her in shock. Slowly, he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer.
"I feel the same, Laxus." Galatea said, fighting to keep the blush off her face.
The two gazed into each other's eyes, and time seemed to stop. Laxus finally bent down slightly, slowly and softly attaching his lips to Galatea's as his eyes shut. Galatea's widened for a spilt second, before fluttering shut as she kissed back. Her hands moved to the back of Laxus's neck, and her gloved hand tangled into his hair slightly.
She felt pure bliss, as a spark lit up and exploded across her body. She never wanted this moment to end. She moved her head slightly, feeling another spark running across her body as Laxus moved as well, deepening their kiss.
Eventually the two had to pull apart, to get air. Galatea looked up at Laxus, a big smile painting her face, sprinkled with a blush coating her face.
