Days past since Galatea had first began to explain her seemingly extensive and dark life before Fairy Tail. After that night when the Thunder Legion finally were able to visit her again, she didn't say anything more on the matter. Galatea had still yet to be cleared by Porylusica to go home, not that the violet-haired woman had complained. She was allowed by now to freely leave the Infirmary and move around the Guild Hall, but had mostly stuck to travelling between the Infirmary and the Guild's Library.
It was clear she was working on something, but none of them were aware of exactly what she was working on. The Thunder Legion could guess it had to do with stack of tomes Andromeda had left Galatea, but they weren't entirely sure. Yet, they didn't realize that most of their questions were about to be answered.
In the mid-afternoon, a familiar set of faces appeared. One more familiar than the other, and she had been appearing at the guild more often recently. Amber, accompanied by the ever-joyful Nari teleported into the Guild, completely unannounced. In the same instance that Nari appeared, she disappeared as well, leaving Amber along in the Guild Hall.
Her presence was noticed quickly, but no one entirely knew how to react. Makarov, from his usual spot on the bar counter, cracked an eye open.
"Good afternoon Amber." Makarov said, watching as the gothic mage approached him.
"Good afternoon Master Makarov." Amber said, "Tea requested my assistance with an important matter, may I enquire her location so I may carry out my duty?"
"Yes." Makarov said, before looking back to Mirajane who was sitting nearby. "Mira dear, would you mind taking Amber to the third Storage Room?"
Mirajane blinked in response, before nodding. "The mostly empty one in the basement?"
"Yes." Makarov nodded.
"Why of course Master." Mirajane nodded, before giving Amber a bright smile. "Follow me."
Amber followed Mirajane away from the prying eyes of the Guild, the heels of her boots thumping against the floorboards. The two woman walked in silence, with Mirajane giving various glances back to Amber who walked with poise and elegance that were unmatched amongst the rowdy family of fairies. The gothic wizard walked in pure silence, and Mirajane couldn't help but look at the strange book the Sabertooth Mage always carried.
"I'm Mirajane Strauss by the way." Mira said, smiling make at Amber.
Strangely, Amber's eyes quickly darted to the floor and the faintest blush that not even love expert Mirajane could detect appeared on Amber's cheeks.
"Yes, I've seen some of your modelling work and your performance at the Grand Magic Games." Amber said, "I familiar with your name. Tea also speaks highly of you since you are one of the S-Class Mages of Fairy Tail."
Mirajane smiled, "Oh, why thank you. I'm honoured."
Mirajane turned her head away from looking back at Mirajane to the dark and musty hallway that they were travelling in. She paused in front of a beat up looking door. Turning the tarnished brass handle, she opened the heavy door and the scent of must and old wood hit the two woman's senses.
Mira gestured Amber inside, and the the split-haired woman entered the room. It was empty and very bare, with rough concrete flooring and walls lined with shelves. The shelves were mostly just filled with cardboard boxes, most of the unlabeled or having unreadable labels.
In the centre of the room, was Galatea. She standing in the midst of essentially a giant mess. Books were on the floor and open all over the floor, and a half-completed magic circle written in blue chalk on the floor. Her hair was haphazardly thrown in a low bun that was holding onto its shape for dear life. She was dressed in a lot more casual attire than what was normal for her, wearing a plain black sleeveless sundress.
