2 | the welcoming feast

Laxus looked around the guild, glad to be back. He wasn't a member, but he was happy to see everyone he missed.

His eyes fell in the direction of a certain purple-haired dragon slayer, who was moving between the bar and the tables, setting the table, which was all of the Guild tables pushed together to form one long table. She darted quickly around, making several of the Tenrou Members have to jump out of her way.

"She's interesting for sure."

Laxus turned to see Evergreen standing next to her.

Laxus nodded.

"Are you gonna introduce yourself?" Evergreen asked, "Almost everyone else has."

Laxus shrugged.

"Maybe later, I'm justing taking in the fact that I'm at Fairy Tail again." Laxus admitted.

Evergreen nodded.

"The rest of us have been talking about it." Evergreen said, referring to the Thunder Legion, "And we wondering if you were gonna stay in Magnolia."

Laxus looked back out at the Guild.

"Maybe not forever, but I'll stick around for awhile." Laxus answered. "I want to make sure Gramps is doing alright in his old age."

Evergreen nodded.

"Alright everyone!" Mira called out over the rowdy Guild, "Take your seats!"

The guild made a quick move to get seats. Makarov was seated at the head of the table, waiting for everyone to take their seats.

As everyone, besides Mira and Galatea took their seats Makarov cleared his throat and raised his glass of wine.

"Tonight, we celebrate a new chapter for Fairy Tail." Makarov began, "I cannot even begin to imagine what the past seven years has been like for those of you. I thank you for continuing Fairy Tail's spirit even through difficult times, and I know that we will be able to get through this."

"Tonight we drink to Fairy Tail's success!"

Everyone raised their glasses with the Master.

"To Fairy Tail's success!" The guild cheered.

"Dig in!" Mira said, as she and Galatea put the last dish on the table.

There was a scramble for food, and Mira quickly took a seat next to her brother. The purple-haired dragonslayer looked around for the empty chair.

Evergreen, realizing that the empty chair was between Laxus and Gildarts, waved at the female dragonslayer over.

"Tea!" The green wizard said, beckoning the girl over.

Galatea nodded and walked over, taking her seat and starting to serve herself some sliced chicken breast.

"Nice to meet you all." Galatea politely said, filling her plate.

Freed smiled at the formal greeting.

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Miss Galatea."

Galatea gave the Rune Mage a small smile.

"Please, call me Tea. No need to be so formal." Galatea said, "I don't believe I've been introduced to you guys yet. Are you the Thunder Legion?"

The group nodded, surprised that she knew who they were. Galatea caught their expressions.

"The other members told me a lot of stories about Team Tenrou. Reedus also let me look at old paintings he made, so I wouldn't be so out of the loop in the chance you guys came back." Galatea said before starting on her chicken.
