There were many things that could tire Galatea out, one of them being people. The sun had just set and unlike a normal day, the approaching night seemed to tire her instead of cheering her up. Her morning was great, having spent it on a brunch date with Laxus. They had wandered around town for a little bit, window-shopping and talking. Afterwords, Laxus left to start on his special requests and Galatea went back to her house for a bit before returning to the guild.
However, the guild had been tiring the moment she had stepped in. Mira had made a b-line for her and started badgering her for details about her date, which prompted Evergreen to come over, then Cana and Erza. When she had finally gotten the noisy women off her back, Natsu had immediately demanded for a fight. He wouldn't leave her alone, so she ended up knocking him out so he would leave her alone.
And now, here she was, sitting on a window frame of the guild hall, watching the stars. She had escaped the guild a few minutes ago, just enjoying the peace and quiet.
She was snapped out of her thoughts by the sound of footsteps that could only be described as adorable, looking down, she saw Frosch standing in front of the guild hall. Looking around for Rogue, she spotted the dragonslayer a little ways away, accompanied by Yukino, Sting, and Lector. She waved to the group before jumping down to the ground.
"Frosch?"
The little exceed turned to Galatea, eyes immediately watering. He ran as quickly as his little legs could towards her. Galatea's eyes softened, and she bent down, reaching her arms out so that the little Exceed could come into her arms.
Frosch jumped into Galatea's arms, immediately clutching onto her chest. She wrapped her arms around the little Exceed and stood up.
"What's wrong Frosch?" Galatea asked.
"Frosch got lost from Rogue. Then Fro tried to find Fro's home but Fro couldn't the way home." The exceed sniffled.
"Aw..." Galatea said, softly rubbing the Exceed's head to sooth it like she would with Asuka. "It's okay, I'm here."
"While Tea take Frosch home?" Frosch asked, "Frosch misses Rogue."
"Yes, I'll take you home. Are you okay with going into the portal realm?" Galatea asked.
"Fro would like that!" Frosch said, instantly stopping his crying.
Galatea turned to Sabertooth Mages, gesturing them over and putting her fingers to her lips.
"I'm going to put you inside the realm. Stay exactly where you are and don't use magic." Galatea said, "Got that?"
Frosch nodded, and Galatea opened a portal in front of her. She walked into the portal, setting the Exceed on the ground. To keep Frosch distracted, she pulled a little stress ball out of her pocket and handed it to Frosch. The small exceed giggled happily, squishing the stress ball and grinning when it bounced back.
Surpressing a grin, she walked out of the portal to find the Sabertooth members waiting outside.
"Come on in. Try not to make a noise." Galatea whispered, ushering them.
The group entered in, and Galatea closed the portal behind them. She walked back up to Frosch, picking Frosch up. Secretly, she opened a portal to the Sabertooth Guild, hoping that the others would get the memo.
"Do you like my stress ball Frosch?"
"Fro likes it!" He cheered.
Galatea giggled, she softly took the ball from Frosch, which made Frosch look around them.
"Is Fro in space?"
"No, but you're close." Galatea said, "Should we go now?"
"Fro thinks we should go!"
