Party

"I slept alright? ... Yeah I know, I did not forget. I was on my way!" I said and hung up the phone. I pick my backpack up and hastily walk-run my way down the stairs.

"Mom. Gonna go!" I shouted. I didn't even understood what mom had said as I shot our door close, jumping straightly at the driver's seat of my car.

The person I was just talking on the phone was Mia. I borrowed a book from her yesterday and she told me to return it early tomorrow, which is today.

It's not my fault I woke up late... alright, I know it's kind of my fault but I did not also like coming late in my class. Though I still have enough time before my class starts.

I was drowned in my own thoughts I did not notice I was already pulling at the university.

I hastily climb off my car and Mia immediately caught my attention as she wait for me with crossed arms and knotted eyebrows, dagger stares being thrown at me.

"Where's my book?" She immediately asked.

"Good Morning." I chuckled awkwardly and hand her her book. It was a reference book for a subject required for all the freshmen to take and since it interests me the least, I decided to study it on the last hour.

"You're going to your first class?" Mia ask as we walk out of the parking lot.

I look at my watch. "I still have a quarter hour before my first class. I think I need to go to the library to study for this requirement my professor in arts ought us to submit."

"Okay. See you then at lunch, I heard from Rob that the twins have been agitated about this birthday party blah blah I think we just need to hear it straightly from them." Mia rumbled which made me laughed.

"I did not hear any of that but yeah, see yah later bitch." I mocked and the witch just flipped me off.

I rolled my eyes but nonetheless wave a hand at her. She did the same as we part ways, she, going to the building of business while I, heading to the university library.

I was currently scanning through the books stacked in one of the large shelves of the library when I felt a presence at my back.

I turned around only to be confused when I saw Selena standing behind me. What does she want?

I was more doubtful when she beamed.

"I know this is not the first time we've met but I still want to introduce myself now that I know you were the girl who tamed the asshat." She said.

She extended her arm for a handshake. "I'm Selena."

I was hesitating for a moment because I can't stand facing the girl who somewhat caused the wound I am still healing until now.

Mukhang napansin niya ang pag-alinlangan ko dahil binawi niya ang kamay niya.

"I know you're still thinking of me as the bitch who steal your boy and ruin your relationship, trust me, I've been wanting to clear my name on that, but I'll let Gray do his job of explaining." She laughed.

Hindi ko na maitago ang kunot sa noo ko nang iniintindi ang sinasabi nito. I was more confused now, worse than before.

Muli niyang nakuha ang atensyon ko nang makitang lumungkot ang ekspresyon nito. "You may be wondering why I am here talking to you right now. I only want to leave you an advise because whether I like it or not, I was involved into this."

Isang maliit na ngiti ang sumilay sa mga labi nito.

"Listen to Gray, Amber. Just listen to him." She said softly.
