Ice Cream

I look at the box in wide eyes and with an imaginary insect in my mind.

"Amber! Are you okay? Bigla kang namutla." I heard the twins asked as they shake me off.

Kumurap ako ng ilang beses bago muling bumaling sa puting kahon na nasa harap ko.

This only confirms our speculation about Gray repeating all the troubles I caused him.

What will he do next? Spill me ice cream?

Why does everyone keep stopping me from throwing these hilarious gifts away?

The two only looked at me like I told them the biggest lie a person could ever made.

I rolled my eyes and walked back to my seat. "Fine. To prove that I already moved on from that guy, I will open it." I said, pertaining to the white box.

Huminga ako ng malalim bago unti-unting itinaas ang takip ng kahon.

Inaasahan ko ang matinis na hiyaw mula kanila Lauren at Leslie sa puntong mabuksan ko ang kahon ngunit iba ang nangyari. They awed as they look appreciatively at the inside of the box.

Tiningnan ko rin iyon nang may buong pagtataka.

"Aww. You're ex is so sweet. Now I wanna know the reason why you two broke." Lauren grinned at me.

"He's a douchebag. That's the reason." I deadpanned.

The twins laughed but went back on blabbering how my ex deserves a second chance because according to them, 'he is so sweet and thoughtful.'

Ilang sandali pa ay napansin ko ang isang note na nakadikit sa ilalim ng takip ng kahon. Tiningnan ko iyon at binasa.
