Chapter 52

"Y/n L/n, will you marry me?"

My hands started trembling and my mouth fell open. I was unable to speak from the happiness and the shock I was feeling.

"I-...y-yes, yes I will!" He got up and pressed his lips on mine as soon as the words left my mouth. The kiss was sweet and full of joy. He pulled away, chuckling and taking my hand in his, putting the beautiful ring on my finger.

"Why are you laughing?" I asked, laughing a little myself.

"I'm just glad that you said yes, cause if you said no, my pants would have gotten dirty for nothing." I playfully punched his arm laughing.

He linked his arm with mine and we started walking back to the car. Guilt hit me. Here I was thinking he was cheating on me when he was spending his time planning this and making this moment as special as possible. I sighed heavily.

"What's the matter?" Levi asked me.

"Nothing. I'm just...really happy." My voice cracked and a few tears escaped from my e/c eyes. Were this tears of happiness or did I feel so guilty that I couldn't hold it in anymore? I don't know for sure, but what I do know is that I have this amazing person beside me who's gonna stay with me no matter what. 

"I'm glad you're happy brat." He patted my head a few times.

"Oh by the way, why did you propose right after a wedding?" I asked.

"The answer is simple...I couldn't wait any longer." He smirked, looking down into my eyes. I rolled my eyes playfully a smile showing up on my lips. The silence was interrupted by my phone ringing.

"Hello Hange!"

"Y/n, Y/n, Y/n, did he propose yet?!!!" I let out a laugh, making Hange confused for a second.

"He did." I answered, looking at my finger which now had a ring on it.

"So? What did you say?!" She seemed impatient.

"I said yes." Cheers were heard at the other end of the line and they weren't Hange's only. It seemed like there were more people in the room with her.

"Okay Y/n, you go and have fun with shorty. We'll wait for you!" She said a bit loudly, making me squint my eyes.

"Wai-" Hange hung up before I could ask any questions.

"Levi where are we going?" I asked him, when I saw that we passed by our car instead of getting in it.

"On a date." He winked at me and then continued looking forward. I looked away blushing. 'Come on Y/n, you're an adult. You can't blush at every little thing!' I mentally scolded myself.

We walked inside a cafe, it wasn't fancy or anything, it had a cozy feeling to it and I liked it. Levi nodded at the waiter and he guided us to a table with a rose in the middle. I had to admit, Levi could be very romantic if he wanted to.

He moved the chair for me to sit. I thanked him and sat at the table. He walked to the other side, also sitting at the table.

"Do you remember when we were teenagers, we used to go to my room and make out." I widened my eyes, looking away, another blush creeping up on my cheeks.

"Why did you bring that up?" I asked giving him a glare. Levi didn't answer my question, instead he let out a laugh.

"You know you're not scary when you glare." He gave me a closed eyed smile. 'He's adorable!'
