A new beginning [Levi x reader]

Chapter 8

"I still don't know that boy's name."
"Well I guess it's too late know." I thought to myself as I started getting ready for the party. I looked in my suitcase but I didn't bring anything that could work with me. Just then Mikasa entered the room. "What are you looking for?" She walked pver to her bed, sat down and started reading her book. "I didn't bring a dress for the party." I said face palming. "Its okay. I can give you one." Mikasa said getting up and walking to her closet. She searched for a bit but then pulled out a (f/c) knee length dress. It was really beautiful. So beautiful that I was hesitant to try it on since I thought it wasn't gonna look good on me. But Mikasa forced me to try it on, and made me look in the mirror afterwards. "So? What do you think?" I looked in the mirror for a bit and then decided to answer. "I like it a lot." I said smiling a bit. Mikasa looked at me and then said something I didn't expect her to say. "Then it's decided. You keep it." My eyes widened. "I can't keep it. It's way to beautiful for me to keep it!" I thought to myself. "Mikasa that's nice of you, but I can't keep it." Mikasa walked over to me, grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me a bit. "Y/n this dress looks better on you than me! So keep it!" She stopped shaking me and calmed down. I nodded and smiled.

After sometime Mikasa and Eren were ready too. Before attending the party we stopped by Armin's house so he could come with us. Once Armin was ready we headed over to Jean's house. After 10 minutes of walking we reached the door. I rang the door bell and seconds after Jean opened the door welcomed us in. "Do you want something to drink?" Jean asked me while holding a red plastic cup. "No, thank you." I'm not a fan of drinking at parties. The cups can get mixed up and then it's gross. I walked over to the couch and sat down. Everybody was dancing. Then I heared a scream. "Y/NNNNNNNNNN!!!!!" I immediately knew it was Hange. She's the only person that is able to scream so loud that you can hear it over the music at a party. I walked over to her and gave her a hug. "Why aren't you with shorty?" Hange asked me. I frowned and looked away. "He's an asshole that's why." I was still hurt by what he said the other day. "Oh I know that, but sometimes it's nice to have his company." Hange said hugging me. I thought of what Hange said for a bit but before I got a chance to respond she ran in the pther corner of the room to talk to other people.

I walked upstairs to find a bathroom. There were many doors so I opened each one and finally found the restroom. I walked in and locked the door. I sighed and leaned over the sink. Parties make me tired and anxious, I don't know why I agreed to be here. "It's a bit rude to walk in the bathroom when someone is already here." I jumped in surprise when I heared someone talking. I looked in the direction of the voice and it was none other than Levi. "Great, just great." I thought to myself. I reached for the door and tried to unlock it but the lock was stuck. I groaned in frustration and crossed my arms over my chest. "You know getting mad is not gonna unlock the door." Levi said looking at me. He came closer and leaned against the sink. "Why are you here anyways. Weren't you the one who said parties were messy." I asked bitterly. "Hange dragged me here." I turned around and faced him. He didn't have a stoic look on his face, it was kind of soft. "Do you wan-" Just as he was about to finish his sentence we heard people screaming downstairs. "The police!!!" I tried to unlock the door quickly but as I was struggling Levi gently pushed me aside and forced the door open. We ran downstairs to see what is happening. "The police is here. We need to go." Levi said as he turned to me. He grabbed my hand and we ran out the back door. I blushed slightly and looked away. Once we were out on the street I realized Mikasa and Eren weren't with me. I looked in every direction but they weren't in sight. "What are you looking for brat?" Levi was confused. "Mikasa and Eren." I said facing him. "Mikasa probably dragged Eren home. They're fine belive me." He said putting his hand on my back. I nodded and sighed. "I should probably go home too." It was begging to get dark. "Wait!" Levi called me. I turned around and was waiting for him to speak. I crossed my arms over my chest and tapped my foot on the ground. "I wanted to ask if you wanted to go to the festival near by. Since the party was shitty." He couldn't look me in the eyes. "I'm mad at you so I'm not really in the mood to go some where with you." I stepped closer to him and waited for a response. "I know...I wanted to take you there as an apology." I looked at his face surprised. I have never seen him apologize to someone. And to make it even better he had a tint of red on his cheeks but that could've been my imagination. "I- I guess I can accept your offer." I said looking away. By now I must've been like a tomato. Levi smirked and took me by my hand. "Let's go then."
