ILIANA'S POV:

I woke up the next morning and got ready for school. I went downstairs and knocked enough for him to hear.

"Come in." I hear a deep voice from the other side of the door say.

"Good morning Eli. I was just letting you know that I'm about to go to school." I say.

"Come in and sit real quick please." I walk to the seat that sits opposite Elijah's desk.

"I have one of my men going with you and he's in all your classes."

"How was he able to get into my classes?" I ask having a confused look on my face.

"I have my ways, Tesoro." A second later he orders a man into his office.

"RÍO come in for a moment please." A tall man, his jaw was chiseled, green eyes, broad shoulders, and wavy brunette-colored hair.

"Yes, boss?" He says.

"This is Iliana." Says Elijah as he shoots a finger at me.

"Nice to meet you Amore mío," Río says planting a kiss on my knuckles.

He was different than Elijah's men. He wore ripped black jeans with a black T-shirt and chain necklaces. He also had two diamond earrings and a silver hoop helix piercing on his left ear.

"Nice to meet you as well, Río," I say to him.

He was handsome with piercing green eyes.

"Guardati Río." Says Elijah looking at Río.

"Si capo."

"Ok have a good day at school. I'll see you later Tesoro."

"I'll see you later too Bello." Says Río as he shoots a playful wink at Elijah.

"Get out." Says Elijah rolling his eyes.

"Come on Caro," Río says with a hand reaching out for mine.

I placed my hand in his and walked out of the room. I looked to my left to see a smirk on Rio's lips.

"Ladies first." He says with a hand pointing out of the room while he opened the door to Elijah's office.

"You ready for school?" Rio asks before closing the door from the passenger's side shut after getting in.

"I'm ready. Are you?" I ask.

"Super. If you need privacy you let me know and I'll back off. Ok?"

"Ok." He drove to my school and he took my books into his hands.

"Hey, you don't have to carry them. I can do it myself."

"And what kind of gentleman would I be to let you carry these for yourself?"

"Well ok. Thank you."

"Hey, Aria I miss you." I ran into a hug with her.
