Chapter 2

The months passed very quickly as it was now your fourth year at hogwarts. As you saw Draco during the first feast all of your feelings toward him rose up again from last year. You forgot about him during summer for a while but he still never left your mind. As draco saw you he could only think of how much you've grown and how much he wanted you even more than before.

Over the summer no one had heard from Draco as he was going through family issues. He had overheard his family talking about him getting the dark mark soon maybe in a year or two which terrified him. He then spoke up about it not wanting a part in any of that but was always turned down by his father. Draco was going through changes that summer and was realizing things, the most important one being that y/n wouldn't like him back if he continued to be associated with his family and the dark lord.

Draco had planned it all summer, he planned to run away to anywhere he could distance himself from his family. He was going to do it this year since he had already packed everything he needed and took it to Hogwarts where he could keep them for now. All draco was focused on this year is finally confessing his rising feelings for you and leaving his family.

At the first feast Draco looked the same but more mature and older. Just looking at him made you go into a trance like state. Dumbledore was making his usual speech about the Triwizard Tournament but you zoned out just staring at Malfoy giving you glances from time to time. Just then the door burst open to reveal a strange looking man who Dumbledore greeted as an old friend. Then out came these students dressed in red who started doing flips and running down the aisles making some kind of fire show.

Their teacher Igor greeted Dumbledore just as another school burst in wearing all blue dancing down the aisles realizing butterflies and their teacher Madame Maxine. She was the tallest person you had ever seen towering over everyone as her and Igor took seats at the teachers table. Your friend filled you in on what schools they came from, which were Durmstrang Institute and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. The dinner proceeded with the usual thing except Dumbledorre made another speech about the Triwizard Cup and all that but you didn't care since you couldn't compete anyways.

It was the next night as you and the twins had been working on their aging potion since they really wanted to compete so you helped. It was finally finished so you ran to the room where the glowing cup was. As soon as you entered everyone started applauding them with laughter filling the room. "We're going to enter this tournament with what Hermione called a dim witted idea" they announced "thank you to y/n who helped brew this" they said again Hermione giving you a look but you just laughed with Ron and Harry.

"Ready fred, ready George" the redhead twins said drinking the potion then jumping into the age line with a surrounding applause. They placed their names into the cup taking a bow but then the cup grew with blue fire flying the twins out now looking as if they were 80 years old. As they tumbled on the floor Viktor Krum walked into the room placing his name in the cup giving Hermione a flirtatious look. you soon eyed her with googly eyes making her face contort into a "shut up y/n" look. Cedrioc Diggory also came in placing his name in the cup before jumping into his friends with excitement.

It was now a day later at dinner when Dumbledore finally was going to do the drawing of the names. The cup soon started to burst out a blue flame with a piece of parchment flying into dumbledore's hand. "From Durmstrang we have Viktor Krum," dumbldore said, with Krum taking the paper from him placing it in the cup. The next chosen was Fleuer Delacour from Beauxbatons and Cedric Diggory for your school. Just then the goblet erupted with Red flames spewing out a fourth and final name.

The parchment flew into Dumbledore's hand which read Harry potter. Dumbldore started to say his name getting louder each time which seemed to scare some people. Hermione and you finally pushed him up to get his name from Dumbledore. As this was all going on you could see Draco sitting across the room with a few Durmstrang students but as soon you looked at him and made eye contact he looked away.

As Harry was walking down the aisle there were a few words thrown out at him for him not being old enough which we were all surprised as to how he had got in. Harry didn't return but we were all sent off to bed. As you were walking to the Ravenclaw tower you saw Draco sitting on the hallway floor. You walked up to him to see what was wrong as you noticed a letter sitting in front of him all ripped up. "Hey are you okay" you asked the boy as you sat down in front of him. Yuu heard small sniffles coming from him which made your heart break. "Papyrus Reparo" you casted mending the torn letter landing into your hands.

You read it and it was talking about how Draco was a disgrace to the Malfoy family for fighting with them constantly and refusing certain things. It also said that he was now disowned from them which made your heart break even more. "Draco are you okay" you asked once again kneeling in front of him waiting for a response. Without trying to enter his mind you did and found out that he was going to run away this year but now he was disowned. But he did the fact that he liked you the hardest he could so you never found out.

"Draco come on you need to get to bed" you said lifting him up, You let him lean on you as you walked to the slytherin common room entrance. "Evrythings going to be okay" you said, placing him down. "Goodnight Draco" you said, placing a kiss on his forehead before getting up and walking to your tower.
