Chapter 28

The next day Harry had scheduled a meeting for the first time using the fake galleons. It was scheduled to be held at 9 p.m this night. Hermione had passed them out the other night after you and Draco left the Great Hall. You were in charms class with Evan, Nick, and Connor who were also going to the meeting as well. "Do you know what we're gonna be learning?" Evan asked to which you replied "I think just the basics". "Well that's not going to be much fun" Nick said "yeah I thought we were gonna learn the big stuff" Connor added.

"I'm not running it so I don't know" you said "we'll just have to wait for tonight". Charms was finally over with you being bored out of your mind. Your other classes passed by slower than usual but all you cared was that they were finally over. You went into the Great Hall for dinner and sat at the Ravenclaw table. Luna joined you and your friends as well followed by Tommy. "Excited for tonight?" she asked "yup and you?" you asked "oh yes me as well" she responded.

"I just hope that it's not boring" Nick said "I assume it would be fun" you said. Dinner had ended with everyone who was going to the meeting heading for the room of requirement. Some people went to their dorms first before heading down. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco were all already in there when you arrived. Ginny and the twins came in soon after you had. The room had contorted to be filled with bookshelves filled with the dark arts and even a space in the room for lounging.

Harry had begun to talk in front of everyone while you sat on the couch listening from afar. Hermione had elected Harry as the leader of the group. They had also come up with the name Dumbledore's Army. Soon after Harry had gotten into a debate with Zacharias Smith about using expeliarmus against you-know-who. Harry said he could leave if he wanted to but he didn't budge. "Everyone partner up and start practicing. You went over to Draco while Connor and Nick went with each other. Luna went with one of her other friends and Evan had asked Bailey to partner up with him. She did agree and they walked over to an area of the room but just stood there.

They however did start but it looked very awkward from an outsiders view. You and Draco went back and forth disarming each other and tossing your wand back. Harry went around and surveyed the room giving tips to others he needed just a little help to improve. Bailey was very good at magic while Evan messed up a few times from being flustered. She too did look a little flustered with being partners with Evan. You gave Evan a big smirk as he caught Baileys wand making him turn red and drop both their wands. You tried to hold in your laughter since you've never seen him like this.

"Have you ever seen him like that?" you said walking over to Nick and Connor "has he ever actually been flustered" said Nick. "He's been chasing after her since like third year" Connor said. "They look good together don't ya think" you chuckled "yeah they do" said Nick and Connor. "Okay, lets try stunning" Harry announced "use your same partner and practice" he added. You, Nick, and Connor were all watching Evan and Bailey still being awkward. Well even more awkward now that they had to stun each other.

You walked back over to Draco and stood a fair amount away from him. "You wanna go first?" he smirked "I want it to be a fair chance so you may go first" you grinned. "Ohoho I see how it is" he said "how 'bout same time" Draco said raising an eyebrow to which you nodded. "St-" "stupefy" you said, sending blue sparks at Draco knocking him on his back. You did the countercurse allowing him to move again. "Ughh I let you do that" he groaned, getting up from the floor.

You and Draco went back and forth stunning each other until you were too tired to get back up from the floor. "I think I'll just lay here" you said "well I'm gonna lie next to you" Draco said laying down next to you. "You two realize we're training right?" Harry questioned "Yeah we know" you chuckled as Harry walked away. You were watching Evan and Bailey but they did not look so awkward anymore. They were now laughing with each other as they practiced.

"Did you see them?" asked Nick as he and Connor knelt down next to you "yeah, I just did " you replied. "Looks like they're hitting it off" Connor chuckled "now we just need to find girls for you two" you joked "that's gonna take a while" Nick said. You were looking up at the ceiling and waved your wand above you sending small fireworks shooting out of it. They formed hearts and floated around the ceiling of the room and around people who had feelings for each other.

The hearts floated down to you and Draco and swirled around your heads while he gave you a big smile. They floated above Bailey and Evan as they sat next to each other on one of the couches. They eventually disappeared into the air leaving a small trace of pink smoke in the air. You waved your wand once again letting out a stream of water which you controlled through the air with your wand. You formed the water into orbs and floated them above you and Draco.

You shaped it into a heart and froze it in the air. You floated it above you and Draco while it spun. "Uh y/n let's not play with that" said Harry from across the room "incendio" you said evaporating the frozen heart. Harry was still helping some of the other students when Tommy layed down on you. "Hey Tommy" you said "hi" he said. "I'm kinda tired" said Tommy as he rubbed his eyes "well I think this meeting is almost-" you said but stopped when you heard soft snores coming from the boy.

"Well I everyone I think this concludes our first meeting" announced Harry as everyone started to clap. Another door had appeared leaving into a different corridor so you could escape from Filch. You picked up Tommy and walked out with Draco with everyone else. You were heading to the Ravenclaw dorms to drop off Tommy and then go to Draco's dorm. You got to the door which someone left open so everyone could easily slip in and went up to his dorm.

You laid Tommy onto his bed and pulled the covers over him. "Goodnight" you whispered to him as you left the room closing the door behind you. "Why don't we just stay here for the night" said Draco "only if you want to" you said. Draco nodded looking very excited and you led him into your dorm. Evan, Nick, and Connor were all passed out with their curtains shut. You pulled Draco onto your bed and flicked your wand closing the curtains around you. "Why don't we have some fun eh?" said Draco.
