Chapter 20

You pulled your lips away from Fred's and opened your eyes. To your surprise Fred placed his hand on the back of your head and pulled you back in for another kiss. Fred held the back of your head as he continued to kiss you, deepening it further. "What the bloody hell are you doing!" Draco sneered slamming his hand on the table. "Oh I'm just hanging out with Fred" you chuckled pulling your lips away from Fred's. " If that's what you call hanging out" Draco sneered slamming his lips into Chris's.

Ron and Harry were staring at each other with their mouths hanging open. Ginny and Hermione were staring at each other as well trying to process what just happened. George on the other hand was laughing to the point where he was crying. "What the hell is going?" Ron asked, trying to hold in his laughter. No one answered him but Draco got up from the table and hopped over it. "Lets go" he sneered, grabbing your arm and pulling you up from the table. Draco was pulling you out of the Great Hall and led you into a nearby hallway.

"What the fuck do you think you are doing?" Draco said, pointing his finger at you, "I'm just doing what you were doing!" you shouted. "Excuse me" he retorted "I did nothing of the sort" he added. "Oh don't act like you don't know what you did Malfoy" you sneered "I'm not the one who kissed Fred" he defended. "You were always with Chris'' you said "you never talked to me or said anything... doesn't that bother you?" you questioned trying to hold back your tears. "Well you know what" he said "WHAT!" you screamed "MAYBE WE'RE NOT MEANT TO BE TOGETHER!" Draco yelled. After hearing that you froze and everything went blank. Your heartbeat began to quicken and soon you couldn't hold back the tears anymore.

Tears were streaming down your face as you quickly tried to wipe them. "y/n I-" Draco said, getting cut off by Fred shoving him into the wall. "What the fuck did you do" Fred sneered grabbing Draco by the collar of his shirt and throwing him back into wall. "Fred stop!" Hermione shouted walking over to you. Ron and Harry were walking with her and Ginny and George were walking behind them. Fred let go of Draco's shirt and tossed him aside. "Are you okay y/n?" Fred asked, putting his hands on your shoulders.

"Er I-" was all you were able to say through your sobs. Fred pulled you into a hug and began to stroke your back trying to comfort you. "Come on let's go" Fred said, pulling away and leading you to the Gryffindor dorms. You reached the Gryfinndor common room and the portrait of the fat lady swung open letting you and everyone else in. Fred sat you down on one of the couches and he sat next to you. Everyone else piled in and started to sit around you guys. "So what exactly happened?" Ron asked "can't you see that he's hurt Ronald" Hermione said hitting Ron on the shoulder.

"Are you feeling better?" Fred asked to which you nodded. "Do you wanna talk about it?" he asked and you nodded again. "So um... I guess we broke up" you said wiping your tears. "I- I don't know what to do, I guess we're done" you said as more tears fell from your eyes. Fred pulled you into another hug and stroked your back as you sobbed into his chest. "You need rest, come on" Fred said, picking you up and walking to his dorm. Everyone else was silent and didn't say a thing.

"Do you think they're really done?" George asked "I'm not entirely sure" Hermione said. "I didn't ever think they would break up" Ginny said "me too" Harry added. "Well Fred will take care of him" George said "does Fred like him?" Hermione asked "oh, no he's just very protective of him" George replied. "Then why did he kiss back?" Ron questioned "Fred likes girls but he will do anything for y/n" George said. "That's why he was gonna hurt Draco," he added. "Well Draco was ignoring him for the whole day" Ron said "so I get why y/n did that" he added.

"They'll make up though, they have to" Ginny said "Draco abandoned his family for y/n" Hermione said "so they have to get back together" she added. Up in Fred's dorm you were sitting on his bed wiping your tears. Fred was trying to find some chocolate to help cheer you up from what just happened. "Here eat this" he said handing you a piece of chocolate. You took it and began to eat it while wiping your tears. "Are you feeling better?" he asked sitting down next to you "yeah, I think so" you replied.

"If you want me to curse him I will" Fred said puffing his chest out "only if you want to" you said. "I just want you to feel better" he said pulling you into a hug "I wanna go to bed" you exclaimed. Fred let go of you and laid you down on the bed pulling the covers over you. He placed a kiss on your forehead and flicked his wand making the room dark as he exited. He walked back down to the common room to find everyone talking amongst themselves.

"How is he?" Hermione asked "he's definitely hiding how he feels" Fred replied "we can go up there later when he's fallen asleep" he added. "But where are you going to sleep?" Ron asked "I'll sleep next to y/n, he's like my little brother" Fred said proudly. "Hey I'm your younger brother" Ron retorted but Fred just shrugged. "Well we'll all wait down here until he's fallen asleep so you both don't have to wait alone" Hermione stated. Everyone else nodded and pulled out something to do while Fred just stared into the fire.

"You okay Freddie?" George asked "i'm just worried about y/n, it hurts to see someone you care about be in pain" he said. "He's a strong kid, he'll definitely get through this" George said, patting Fred on the shoulder. Enough time had passed for you to fall asleep so Fred, George, and Lee all headed up. Lee came in a while after the incident. Lee instantly fell asleep on his bed while George changed into his pajamas and went into the bathroom. "Oh y/n, you have no idea how much it kills me to see you cry" Fred said climbing into bed with you. He laid down in front of you and pulled you into him so your head was in his chest. "Goodnight" he whispered, closing his eyes.

A/U: just so you know there isn't going to be a love triangle between you, Fred, and Draco. There might be smut chapter between you and Fred but its gonna be a drunk incident.
