Chapter 6

It was now the next morning and you woke up to find your bed empty. "Where did he go" you thought to yourself. You brushed it off and started to get ready for breakfast. You changed into your regular clothes grabbing your wand and headed downstairs. You ran into Draco on the way to the Great Hall, "where'd you go" you asked the boy, "back to my dorm" he replied. "Why", "just reasons he said. You sat down at the Gryffindor table with Draco next to you.

"Morning" you said to everyone grabbing food for your plate, the twins gave Draco a look for him to follow them. The twins got up and so did draco following them outside. "So when are you asking him" they said in unison, "I was thinking today" Malfoy responded. "Okay that's a good idea since there are no classes today" Fred said as they walked back into the hall. You didn't bother to ask where they went since you were too hungry to care. "Do you want to go to hogsmeade with me today?" the blonde asked you, "yeah sure" you said.

The twins gave Draco a big grin and so did the others. Draco just rolled his eyes and turned to face you again. He was now staring into your eyes and was lost in them. You then turned to him and he immediately turned bright red and looked away. Breakfast was now over and Draco pulled on his coat and you put on yours. You both were headed to Hogsmeade for some fun and he was going to confess and ask you to the dance. The walk there was silent but it was a comfortable silence.

You had finally arrived and went into some candy shop and bought lollipops. Draco then pulled you to other shops so he could gain some confidence and make it a bit less awkward. You had gone to so many shops already and Draco pulled you onto a brick bench where you ate some candy. "Hey y/n" he said, "yeah" you responded. "I want to tell you something" the blonde said as he turned to face you to which you gave a nod. "I like you" Draco said with a blush growing on his face, "I like you too" you said as your face turned red as well. "Will you go out with me and to the ball?" he asked very shyly which made you giggle. "Yes I will" you said pulling Draco into a hug.

You hadn't even realized it was now 5 pm meaning you spent the whole day at Hogsmeade. "I think it's time to go back, don't you think darling"Draco said as he stood up. "I think it's time as well" taking draco's hand in yours as you started the walk back to the castle. The walk was once again fairly silent which you didn't mind since you both were a bit nervous. "Do you want to sleep in my dorm tonight?" the boy asked you, "I would like that" you responded. It was time for dinner so you walked into the Great Hall and sat at the Gryffindor table with everyone giving you massive grins.

Dinner was normal but there were just a few announcements about the Yule Ball. "Harry have you got a date yet" you asked, "No not yet" he responded. "The ball is next week you need to hurry" you added. Fred had asked Angelina to go with him and George had asked some girl named Alicia who was on his quidditch team. Ron also didn't have a date, Hermione did but she didn't want to say who it was. You figured out it was Viktor Krum because you read her thoughts. "We have to go get our dresses and you boys get your dress robes" Hermione said, "we can all go tomorrow" she quickly added.

Dinner was over and Draco took your hand to lead you to his dorm. He said the password and the wall formed into a door that opened. He was still holding your hand as he pulled you into his room. He had his own room since some Slytherins did. "You can shower first, I'll put some clothes by the door" he said as you walked into the connecting bathroom. You showered fairly quickly as to not keep draco waiting for too long. He left a big shirt and a pair of pajama pants which you changed into.

You exited the bathroom and sat on his bed. He kissed your forehead and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. He finished and walked out with his hair wet and plaid pajama pants on. You waved your wand to dry his hair which made him pout since he wanted you to dry it with a towel. He hopped onto the bed with you trying to get your attention. You were resting your back up against the bed frame with Draco's head in your lap as you read a book.

"Close the book and pay attention to me," he said, looking upwards at you, making you laugh. "I was with you all day calm down" you said as you continued reading. Draco just laid in your lap as you finally had finished with your reading. Draco sat up in front of you and took your hands and interlocked your fingers together. "I love you" Draco said, "I love you too" you said as your face turned red. Draco soon pulled you into a hug and pulled himself on you. He then flipped you around so you were now laying on top of him.

Draco started to place kisses on your forehead making your cheeks turn pink. "We should go to sleep," you said to him, "I don't want to" Draco replied. "Well I want to" you retorted, "I don't care, we're staying up a little longer" Draco started with a chuckle. You wanted to go to sleep so you just laid your head down and closed your eyes. Draco didn't even realize you'd fallen asleep until his gaze caught you. "Goodnight my love" Draco said brushing your hair as he closed his eyes.

You awoke in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. When you came back Draco was awake sitting on the bed. "Where were you" he asked, pulling you back into bed, "I was using the bathroom' you said. "We're going back to bed" he said as he pulled you back onto him and pulled the covers over you. "goodnight love" he said as he closed his eyes.

This chapter was a little short but oh well I couldn't think of anything else to write. And I know the confession was early but its all for a reason
