Chapter 19

Quidditch tryouts were happening once again but Harry's detention was getting in the way of it. Ron was going to try out this year since he got an actually good broom. You were sitting at the Ravenclaw table during breakfast with Tommy and Luna. Your dorm mates were still sleeping and you didn't feel like going to the common room to get them. "So how was yesterday?" you asked "it was okay, I got to miss my first two classes cause of my nose bleed" Tommy said. "Was your detention alright?" Luna asked "not at all" you said showing her your hand.

Draco was at the Gryffindor table with everyone else eating breakfast. Chris Cogan was back at it again trying to be next to Draco. You were glaring at him for a while until the twins noticed you. They called over to Draco and motioned their heads towards your direction. Draco looked over at you and smiled. You however did not return a smile but instead kept glaring at Chris. "Excuse me, I'll be right back" you said getting up from the table. You made your way over to the Gryffindor table and sat down next to Chris.

"Is it true you're allergic to flower pollen?" you asked "um yeah" Chris responded to which you nodded your head. "Orchideous" you muttered under your breath waving your wand. A spread of flowers were now sprouting from your wand onto the table. The flowers were emitting a powder like mist into the air. The mist flew into Chris's face and he began to sneeze. His eyes were now red and watery, his nose had snot running down and he continued to violently sneeze. "What are you doing?" Draco protested "I'm just having fun" you laughed. The twins, Harry and Ron, were all laughing along with you. Draco extinguished the flowers with a flick of his wand.

"It isn't funny y/n, he's allergic" Hermione said "for once I'm with Hermione on this, Im taking him to the hospital wing" Draco said. Draco got up and helped Chris get up as well. Chris was shorter than Draco so he leaned himself against him as they walked out. "It was funny right?" you asked "oh very funny" the twins said trying to contain their laughter. "Chris has always been after Draco but he never noticed" Fred said. "Yeah cause he always had his eyes on you" George added, "well he's definitely noticing now" you said.

"Did you guys have a fight?" Hermione asked "no" you said. "Then why is he protective over Chris" Ron protested throwing his arms up in the air "no clue" you said. You were getting pretty mad about what happened with Chris. You wanted Draco to not care and turn a blind eye but he didn't. Instead of laughing it off he got mad and took care of Chris. The bell rang signaling classes to start so you waved your wand flying your bag over to you. You grabbed it in the air and slung it over your shoulder and headed out.

You had potions first so you walked with the trio. They were talking about something but your mind was focused on what happened with Draco. You took your normal seat and Draco came in a few seconds after you. He took the seat next to you and dropped his bag on the floor. "Why isn't he saying anything" you though, "today you will be getting your potions back" Snape announced. Snape placed your potion on your desk and put down the grading paper. You had gotten full marks while Draco got the same. You thought he would at least say something about it but he didn't.

Class had finally ended after a long and brutal hour and a half. You put your cauldron away and slung your bag over your shoulder. You made your way over to Ron and Harry since you had Divination with them next. You walked with them to the ladder leading to the trap door. You could immediately smell the perfumed fire from down there. When you pushed the door open you found Professor Trelawney sitting in her chair staring at the fire.

You walked over to one of the tables with Ron and Harry taking a seat. After a few minutes of the rest of the class coming in. Umbridge then walked through the door "hem hem" she squeaked. "What's she doing here?" you and Ron said to which Harry shrugged. "I assume you got my letter Sybil" Umbridge said "oh yes yes" trelawney replied. "Just ignore that I'm here" Umbridge said and took out her quill and clipboard. "Everyone pair up, y/n, Ron, and Harry may be a group of 3" Trelawney said.

You began to look at a chart that had moons on it. "What're we supposed to be learning about?" you asked "dreams and moons I guess" Ron replied. "Um Trelawney, how long have you been teaching here?" Umbridge asked "16 years" she said. "16 years... and how many times have you predicted something?" Umbridge asked "Er I-", "that's what I thought dear" Umbridge said. She spun on her heel and walked back to the trap door, "wait wait, you are in grave danger" she said. "Well I highly doubt that" Ubmbridge squealed walking down the trapdoor.

"Well that was interesting" Ron said trying to hold in his laughter, "she might as well be fired" Harry said. "Hey, she's a pretty good teacher," you said trying to defend her. "Oh please, she's bloody terrible at her job" Ron chuckled but you just rolled your eyes at him and continued with the moon chart. Class had finished and you headed to the great hall for your break. You passed by the courtyard and saw Draco sitting with Chris doing what looked like homework. "Hey look its-" Ron said "shut it Weasley" you said, cutting him off.

You walked past through the corridor into the Great Hall and went over to the ravenclaw table. You took a seat and began to work on the assignment Snap had given you about moonstones. You wrote quite a bit but the bell rang again so you got up and headed out. You had transfiguration and charms next with your house friends. You walked in and took your usual seat next to Nick who was trying to turn flowers into crystals. "Still trying that one are you?" you chuckled "I need to get it right" he said. You took out your books and Professor Mcgoncgall began to give her daily speech.

You were given homework on transfiguring papers into a swarm of butterflies. You headed out of the classroom and made your way over to charms with Professor Flitwick. You were to be learning about the basics of 5th year charms. It was fairly easy though so you weren't struggling at all. You weren't given homework thankfully, so you had one less class to have work done for. You headed to the rest of your classes which were herbology and care of magical creatures. Herbology always bored you no matter what you were learning.

Care of magical creatures was fun when Hagrid had you learn about and interact with interesting creatures. You ended the day with heading to the great hall for dinner as usual. When you walked into the hall you found Draco and Chris sitting next to each other. Your face became red with anger and jealousy. You walked over to the Gryffindor table while you still eyed Draco. You walked over to where Fred was sitting and took a seat next to him. "Hello darling" Fred said, you glanced over at Draco and connected your lips with Freds.
