Chapter 74

"Accio horcrux" said Hermione pulling out her wand "trying that one again" chuckled Ron "lumos" you said illuminating the tip of your wand, everyone else did the same as they tried to search for anything that could be a horcrux. The vault was filled with piles of galleons and a bunch of other gold items. "Is it here Harry?" Ron asked "can you feel anything?" you asked but he did not answer. Harry looked up to see a small golden cup resting at the top of the back wall. "Oh" gasped Hermione as she knocked over one of the gold bands. It fell to the floor and with a shake it split into more and then more. "There, that's it" cheered Harry staring at the cup, "gemino curse" you said as more things started to multiply.

More things fell over and soon there were piles of gold plates and bands on the floor. "Give me the sword" said Harry, Hermione pulled it out of her bag and tossed it to him. Harry caught it and went towards the cup, trying his best to fight his way past all of the gold that was now piling up everywhere. He slashed his way through to the top and soon you were covered up to your waist in gold. "Stop moving" said Hermione as she froze in place but Harry kept going. Soon the pile was so big it hid his entire body from view. He burst out through it with the cup but everything kept piling up. "We had a deal" sneered Harry "cup for the sword" the goblin shouted. Harry handed him the sword and he threw the cup to Hermione.

"I said I'd get you in, not get you out" he sneered, shoving the goblins hand back onto the vault door, freeing him from the room. You flicked your wand above your head causing everything to blast away allowing you and everyone else to escape through the door. "Griphook!" shouted Harry as he ran down the hall to the railing, "thieves" cried Griphook as he vanished out of view. "That fucker" snapped Ron "but we've still go thim" he added pointing to the goblin. The dragon whirled it's head around and sent a blaze of fire at the enchanted goblin. "Now it's just us" you said jumping behind a wall as curses were being thrown at you.

"We can't just stand here, who's got a plan" said Hermione "you're the brilliant one" said Harry "I have something but it's crazy" she said looking over at you. "You sure?" you asked, to which she nodded her head and you did the same. "Wait what" cried Ron, "reducto," you said, blasting the railing off as Hermione ran through and leapt onto the dragon. "What are you doing?" yelled Ron "saving your asses" you chuckled jumping onto the dragon as well. "Come on!" shouted Hermione, Draco jumped and you grabbed him closer. "Relashio" said Hermione, destroying the chain that bound the dragon to the floor.

You flicked your wand, sending a blast of exploding fire to the guards standing behind the pillars. You flicked it again sending a massive wave of water from your wand and swept them all out. The dragon started climbing the walls of the vaults and made it's way all the way up from the ground. "This is crazy" called Ron "I told you it was" said Hermione as she clutched onto the dragon. "Confringo" you said, exploding the floor above as you reached it, allowing the dragon to pass through. The dragon broke through the main floor as all the goblins started running around, trying to get to safety.

The dragon broke through the glass window, collapsing the chandelier onto the floor and pulled its body up. It stood at the top taking in the air, "now what" called Ron "reducto" you said zapping the dragon's tail once more earning it to let out a massive roar into the air. It began to run over the rooftops, collapsing them in and destroying most of them in the process. "Whats it doing!" screamed Ron "fly, I think" you replied still clutching to the beast "this is so stupid". The dragon began to flap its wings, trying to support itself into the air. It crashed down on buildings but soon took flight.

The dragon soared up into the air as you all clutched on tighter to its spines. It flew just below the clouds and over the city. "That was amazing, just brilliant" cheered Ron "but, where are we going now?" he asked "I dunno" you called back "wherever it takes us". The Dragon flew over the city and soared through the sky leaving everything in small black dots behind you. You were flying above a massive lake when the dragon soon began to lower itself out of the air. "We're dropping" said Hermione "let's jump" shouted Harry "now".

Everyone released their hold on the beast and plunged into the water. You struggled to swim your way up at the sudden hit of the water, but managed quickly enough. You broke the surface and spit water out of your mouth as you swam towards a small island. "y/n!" shouted Draco "where are you", "I'm right here" you said pulling yourself up onto the shore of the piece of land. "Oh- come here" he said pulling you up out of the water and into his body "don't ask me if I'm good" you said "we're both fine" you chuckled as he wrapped his arms around you.

"Wheres Harry?" you called "I'm right here" he replied climbing out of the water "he knows" said Harry "he knows we broke into gringotts and he knows we're hunting horcruxes" he continued "how do you know?" Hermione asked. "I saw him," he answered, "you let him in. . .Harry you can't do that" you said walking over to him. "Look, I can't always help it, I don't know" said Harry walking up the small hill on the island. "What happened?" said Ron "he's angry, and he's scared too" said Harry "he knows if we destroy all the horcruxes we can kill him. . .but one of them is at Hogwarts" said Harry "how is that possible?" you asked.

"I dunno, but i saw it and Rowena Ravenclaw" he said "we have to go to the castle" he continued "we can't do that, we need a plan" said Hermione "even if we plan, everything will go to hell". "Harry right, we need to go now" you said pulling off your wet clothes, "but Snape is headmaster, we can't exactly just walk in" said Ron "we go to Hogsmeade and Honeydukes, take the passage in the cellar" said Harry pulling on a dry shirt.
