Chapter 17

The next morning you were sitting in the Great Hall eating breakfast with Tommy. "Schedules come out today" you said "are the classes hard?" Tommy asked. "Not really, but you just need to pay attention in class" you replied, your schedule was handed to you by Professor Flitwick along with Tommys. "I have potions, DADA, charms, transfiguration, astronomy, divination, history of magic, herbology, and care of magical creatures" you said. "I have transfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, and Herbology" he said. "Oh and I also have flying lessons?" he questioned, "it's for every first year, it'll be fun" you said.

"Come on I'll show you to your classes" you said getting up from the table with Tommy doing the same. "Your first class is transfiguration so you'll have professor McGonagall in there" you said walking up to the classroom entrance. "Just follow the other first years to your next class, '' I'll see you during break" you said walking to your first class. Your first class was potions with Snape. You made your way to the dungeons and a hand grabbed yours. "Hi darling" Draco said lacing your fingers together "hey" you responded.

"Do we have to go to potions, I hate it' you groaned. "It is required but it is definitely boring" Draco laughed. You entered the classroom and took seats next to each other. "Today we will be brewing draught of peace, you have an hour and a half" Snape said. You immediately started to read the board for the instructions and began to brew your potion. Draco started his as well but was mainly just staring at you working. "Stop staring and work or Snape will say something" you said to Draco, making him groan in irritants.

You spent the hour and a half making the potion and you were finally done. Snape was somewhere bullying Neville about his potion which made him mess it up. Snape went over to Harry and began talking about his potion and flicked his wand at it, making it disappear. "A zero for you then Potter" Snape said, "fill your vials with the potion and leave it on my desk with your name on it" he added. You and Draco filled your vials and labeled your names on it. You packed up your books and slung your bag over your shoulder putting the vial on Snape's desk.

Your next class was divination with Harry and Ron. "I'll see you during break," Draco said, placing a kiss on your hand and began to walk the other way. "Hey guys" you said, throwing your arms around Harry and Ron's shoulders. "Hi y/n" Ron and Harry said. "Surprised you're still in divination" Harry said "it's not that hard since I can read minds" you said tapping your head with a finger. You climbed the ladder that led to professor Trelawney's room and was immediately hit with the smell of the perfumed fire. "I forgot how much I hate this perfume" you said, taking a seat next to the two of them.

Professor Trelawney was sitting in her chair that had gold rims and was looking around the room. She got up and started to explain what this year's term was going to be about. She was talking about dreams and all this and that. You were getting bored of her talking and started to play with the table cloth. The class was slowly trudging on while she talked about O.W.Ls. The class finally ended with her giving out homework to write about dreams. You climbed down the ladder and headed to the Great Hall where Draco was sitting at the Gryffindor table talking to the twins. "Hi" you said, taking a seat next to him, "hey," he said. You and Fred made eye contact and he smirked at you making you look the opposite direction.

Tommy came strolling into the Great Hall and when he saw you he went over to you. He took a seat next to you and pulled out a book to read. "Whos that" Harry whispered "this is Tommy, Tommy say hi" you said and he waved to everyone. "He's a first year" you added. "How was transfiguration" you asked "it was okay, someone blew up their desk!" he said. "Oh and in charms we were trying to float a feather and someone set theirs on fire!" he added looking very excited. "Well that sounds very fun" you chuckled, "looks like I have some competition" Draco joked making you laugh.

The bell then rang and signaled for class to start again. "I'll see you at dinner Tommy" you said getting up from the table and walking out with Draco. You had history of magic and astronomy next so you parted ways with Draco. History of magic was the same as every year, boring. The teacher was always talking about himself and hardly about the actual prompts. You did however take notes on what he was saying because it could be useful. After that you went to astronomy with Evan, Connor, and Nick who were in almost all of your classes.

You sat next to them and were studying the planets and their moons. Connor kept making stories up about the planets lives which made the class fun. Evan was actually doing the work while you and Nick were copying off of him. "You three need to actually do the work" Evan stated which made the three of you laugh. "I think we'll just copy off of you" Connor said, "agreed" you and Nick said. Class was finally over and you made your way to the Great hall for dinner. You sat with your three dorm mates and Tommy. Luna Lovegood who you met in your second year was there as well. "Hi Luna" you said "hello y/n" she replied. "The quibbler again?" you asked "always the quibbler" she joked.

Luna began to eat along with the rest of you. You were making jokes with everyone and Tommy almost cried from laughing. Luna was laughing very hard as well along with you. Evan almost choked on his food from all the laughing. At the Gryffindor table Harry, Ron, and Hermione were watching your fit of laughter. "He's friends with looney- Luna Lovegood" Hermione said "whats wrong with her?" the twins asked. "She's just different," Hermione replied. "She looks completely normal to me" Fred said with George nodding.

Draco was sitting at the Gryffindor table again this year because he felt more comfort there. "Staring at y/n again" Fred joked which made Draco blush and glare at him. Your eyes met his and you waved at him making go even more red out of embarrassment of being caught. "Looks like someones madly in love" George joked as he nudged Fred, making him laugh as well. Dinner had ended and You were walking your little friend group back to the Ravenclaw dorms. The students ahead had said the password already so you walked in and said goodnight to everyone and walked back out.

Draco was standing outside waiting for you. "Shall we" he chuckled "we shall" you said linking your arm with his. You walked to the Slytherin dorms and entered his dorm. It looked almost the same as last year's one but it was slightly different since he was in a higher year. Draco hopped into the shower while you changed into sleepwear. You sat back down on the bed and pulled out a book while Draco emerged from the connected bathroom. He was wearing a pair of plaid long pants with no shirt. His hair was dry since he didn't want to go to bed with wet hair.

He climbed into bed next to you while you put your book away. "That Tommy kid seems to really like you" Draco said "well i'm glad he does, he's like the little brother I never had" you said resting your head on Draco's arm. Draco began to lie down and he pulled you onto his chest and pulled the covers up. "Goodnight darling" he said "goodnight Draco".
