Chapter 56

Ron was lying resting in the hospital wing while you were sitting in the locker rooms while Harry changed into his quidditch uniform. "You're always late" you joked "I'm not always late" said Harry "most of the time" you chuckled getting up from the bench. "I'm gonna head up to the stands, good luck" you said heading out the door. You made your way up the quidditch stands and sat down next to Hermione. "Where were you?" she asked "I was talking with Harry" you replied.

"What took so long?" asked Ginny "I met Malfoy" said Harry "I thought y/n was dealing with him" said Ginny "he's having trouble, so I'm helping" replied Harry. "Does he know you're helping?" asked Ginny "nope" answered harry, "come on, we're starting soon" said Ginny flying up into the air. Throughout the match Cormac had been giving orders as if he was captain. He had replaced Ron for the time being since he was out sick. Harry had been getting pissed off at the fact that Cormac was teaching the others how to play their positions.

Luna was commentating for the match which surprised many people. "Look everyone that Hufflepuff has the quaffle" said Luna into the mic "I wonder who let Luna have that job?" said voice from behind you earning you to turn around. You turned to see Evan, Nick, Connor, and Bailey all sitting there. "When did you guys get here?" you asked "just now, we had some extra charms work" said Evan. "but seriously can you believe they let Luna comment on the match?" chuckled Nick "don't get me wrong she's cool and all but ya know" Nick added. "I think it's hilarious" you chuckled.

Suddenly Harry was toppling out of the air with his broom falling with him. There were screams coming from the stands as he fell. Both of the Gryffindor beaters raced to grab Harry before hitting the floor and Ginny dove down for his broom. You raced down the stands with Hermione and followed where they took him into the hospital wing. Harry woke up to find himself on a bed next to Ron who was talking with Hermione. "Are you okay?" you asked "not entirely" he said rubbing his head. "What exactly happened?" he asked "that idiot Mclaggen hit the quaffle at you" you replied.

"We'll let you both rest" said Hermione pulling you out of the room with her. "I caught Malfoy walking with some girls before I went down to the field" said Harry "mate, I think you're becoming a little obsessed with Malfoy" said Ron "and I thought y/n was dealing with him?" asked Ron. "well he's having trouble" said Harry "Kreacher" said Harry, and with a loud crack the house elf was standing next to his bed. "Muffilato" said Harry pointing his wand to the door and Madam Pomphreys desk so they could talk without her hearing.

Another crack went through the air and there stood Dobby standing next to Kreacher. Peeves came in but Harry used the lang-lock curse on him so he couldn't speak. "Master called?" Kreacher said "yes, I need you to follow Draco Malfoy" said "Dobby wishes to help Harry Potter!" said Dobby "okay the, both of you follow him" said Harry. "And make sure to not be seen, and report back to me when I'm alone" continued Harry.

Harry and Ron got released the next day but Madam Pomphrey still did not want them to be overexerting themselves. "Have you heard about Ginny and Dean fighting" said Hermione, "what on earth could they be fighting about?" asked Ron "Dean was laughing that Cormac hit Harry" said Hermione "it's really one of the most stupid things" you said. "Here Harry" said Luna holding out a piece of rolled parchment "oh- thanks Luna" said Harry taking it from her. "Nice commentary last match" said Ron "you're making fun of me aren't you?" asked Luna "No, I'm serious, one of the best actually" said Ron earnestly. "What's that?" he asked "it's gurdyroot" said Luna, helps with keeping away Gulping Plimpies" she said.

"You can keep it, I have plenty more" said Luna handing the root over to Ron and walking away. "She's growing on me ya know" said Ron "finally" you chuckled throwing an arm around Ron even though he was much taller than you. "She's insane, but in a good way" said Ron but stopped at seeing Lavender. "Let's go" Harry muttered to you and Hermione.

After a while Ron came into the common room looking utterly irritated that he had to talk to Lavender. Harry had left soon after for his lessons with Dumbledore which left you, Ron, and Hermione alone. You were helping Ron with charms homework but you had fallen asleep on the couch. Ron put his paper back into his bag and laid out a blanket on top of you. Harry came back hours later to find you and Ron laying on one of the couches completely passed out. Harry just went up to his dorm and laid on his bed thinking about his lesson with Dumbledore.

The weeks past and more notices were being put up for apparation tests. There was a notice that offered extra help to those who were already 17 and it would take place in Hogsmeade. "I can't even apparate yet, and the test is getting closer" said Ron "you'll do fine Ron" you said trying to reassure him. "And if I don't?" he questioned "then you'll just have to try again" you said closing your book. "And if I-" "Ron you'll be fine" you said not allowing him to finish his sentence.

There was a crack, Kreacher was standing in the common. "Master has told me he wanted regular reports on the Malfoy boy, so that is what I am doing," said Kreacher. "You're regular, what?" you asked "master has given the task of following Draco Malfoy" said Kreacher. There was another crack and Dobby appeared beside Kreacher. "Dobby has been helping too" said the elf "you told them to spy on Draco?" you questioned "well, yes. . . but I just thought some extra help would work" defended Harry. "I appreciate the thought, but I flet like you could've had a little more faith in me" you chuckled "it was only for extra help" laughed Harry.

"Master Malfoy moves that befits his pure blood, his features are-", "Draco Malfoy is an evil boy!" squeaked Dobby cutting off Kreacher. "He is not evil" you snapped, scaring Dobby in the process. "Skip to where he has been going," said Harry "he has been making trips to the seventh floor with other students," said Dobby. "The room of requirement" said Harry "of course he's been going there!" said Harry smacking his head.

"All I need to do is go follow him there and get in" said Harry "except that's impossible," said Hermione. "He found our headquarters, so I could easily find him" retorted Harry "he knew what to look for, we don't know what he's using the room for" said Hermione. "Well he's been going there with other students?" said Hermione "I overheard Malfoy talking to Crabe and Goyle about something" said Harry, "they must be transforming into girls" said Harry. "That would explain the missing poly juice potion" said Hermione.

"Crabe and Goyle would only work with him if he showed them his dark mark!" said Harry "it makes perfect sense". "The mark we don't know is even real" protested Hermione. You knew Draco was a death eater and possessed the dark mark, but that was something you would never tell. . . not even some of your closest friends.
