Chapter 34

 The twins had pestered Mrs. Weasley about going to Diagon Alley. But she did finally give in to make them shut up. It was around 11 a.m. when you all departed for Diagon Alley using the floo network. You and Draco went together so you could use less and so you could hold onto Draco. You were now transported into one of the many alleys with the bright sunlight shining over you. "Come on," Draco said, pulling you towards the main street. You were looking in through the windows of every shop trying to figure out what to buy Draco. "I think I'll take y/n'' said Fred pulling you to him "and I'll take Draco" said George pulling Draco to him. "Don't worry, you'll see each other again" they joked.

Fred pulled you in a different direction than George had pulled Draco. "So what're you getting for christmas?" Fred asked "I don't know what to get the guy who has everything" you said. "Well what does he like?" he asked "he likes jewelry" you cheered "but I don't know what kind" you groaned. "How about a ring?" Fred suggested "with your initials" he added. "That's perfect," you said, grabbing Fred's hand and running to the enchanted jewelry shop.

Draco already knew what he was going to get you. He wanted people to know you were his and only his. He was going to give you a ring with his initials on it. The letters would glow a greenish light whenever he was thinking about you. He wanted to get you a necklace as well but he wasn't sure if he wanted it to be a pendant or be his initials. Draco and George were going to head to the same shop you went to but he saw you in the window, so he had to misdirect Draco for a bit. He pulled Draco to a bunch of other stores that had nothing to do with Jewelry whatsoever but Draco didn't complain.

The ring you got Draco was a simple plain ring but it had your initials engraved onto it. The ring also had some sort of rune design on it which was what drew you to it. You and Fred exited the shop after the shop owner enchanted it with the same charm that Draco was going to use on his ring for you. George had seen you two leave and he finally pulled Draco into the jewelry shop. Draco found a nice dainty ring with a vine/rose design on it. After looking at it he knew that it was the one. He paid for it and asked the shop owner to enchant it so the initials would glow.

After engraving the initials the owner pulled out his wand and said something under his breath and the letters started to glow. He placed the ring into a box and placed it into a bag for Draco to carry. Draco took it and walked out with George. Draco realized he forgot the necklace and ran back into the shop. He started looking at all of the necklaces and some of the pendants. He settled on a butterfly pendant that when you tapped it with your wand the butterfly would fly off and fly around. "Sorry about that" Draco said "no worries mate" George said putting an arm around Draco. "I think it's time we head back to y/n and Fred" George said, Draco nodding in agreement.

You and Fred were in the Magical Menagerie looking at a few of the animals. This was also the place where Hermione had bought her cat Crookshanks. "The ferrets are so cute" you said "would you like one" said a voice behind you. You turned around to see a grinning Draco but that grin turned into a big smile. "Do you want one?" he asked, pulling you into a hug. "I don't know" you replied. "I think I'll pass one the ferret, I already have you to take care of" you laughed. "Ha ha very funny," said Draco. You and Draco grabbed each other's hands and laced your fingers together as you left the shop.

Ron and Harry were in one of the bookshops sitting at a table while Hermione was looking around. She was practically springing from each book to the next. You and Draco walked into the bookshop and took seats next to Ron and Harry. The twins had disappeared somewhere but they were probably just looking around. "Are you two buying anything?" you asked "no, not really" Ron said "same here" said Harry. "What's she looking for?" you asked "we have no clue" they said in unison, "Hermione what're you looking for?" you asked. "I'm just browsing" she called back, "pfft browsing, yeah right" Ron joked earning a laugh from you, Harry, and Draco.

Hermione had finally finished her browsing and left with no books. She and Ron started bickering about her "browsing" which you had to tune out since it got irritating. The twins had finally joined back after doing whatever business they had. "Wow we spent the whole day here" said Ron looking astonished. "It was fun though" you said. You had found Mrs. Weasley who was with Ginny at one of the shops. "All ready are we?" she asked, to which everyone nodded. "Lets head back to the alley we came from" she said pushing everyone forward.

You were back in the alley that you had entered Diagon Alley with and you took some floo powder from Mrs. Weasleys pouch. "Grimmauld Place" you said as you threw the powder at yours and Dracos feet causing it to erupt in a green flame. You opened your eyes and you were now standing in the fireplace at Grimmauld Place. You and Draco quickly stepped out allowing for everyone else to come through. "That was fun wasn't it" Draco said "it was very fun" you chuckled. Everyone else had come through and Mrs. Wealsy went into the kitchen to prepare dinner.

You and Draco went up to your room and put your bags away in your trunks. You walked back down with him and walked into the kitchen to find everyone already sitting down. You pulled Draco down next to you as Mrs. Wealsy and Sirius were preparing dinner. "Everyone have fun today?" Mrs. Weasley asked "it was very fun" everyone said. She floated down plates of food onto the table and plates for everyone to eat off of. Dinner was fairly quiet since everyone was burnt out from spending the day at Diagon Alley. You finished your dinner and headed up to bed.

Draco followed you soon after and found you laying on the bed. "Sleepy are we?" he joked "very" you chuckled. Draco walked over to the bed and climbed in next to you. "Let's go to bed" you said "alright darling" he said. "Goodnight my love" he said "goodnight Draco".
