Chapter 63

Ron was keeping lookout for different ministry workers. Ron had already helped knock out four and he just needed one more. A woman came walking by where Ron was positioned, he walked down and pretended to fix his shoes while Harry zapped her from an open door. Harry helped Ron to carry her in and laid her down next to everyone else. Hermione handed everyone a small flask with the hairs already inside. "Remember, don't speak to anyone unless absolutely necessary" said Hermione "just do what everyone else is, and with some luck we'll get inside" she added. "This is completely mental" you said "the world's mental" said Ron.

Everyone drank from their flask and started shifting into the currently knocked out workers. Harry walked out of the door first and Draco pulled you out after him. You walked down the streets until the parting point. "I'll see you guys inside," said Hermione, walking towards the women's entry point. You walked into what looked like a bathroom with a bunch of other workers there. You walked into a stall next to Draco. "We flush ourselves in" said Draco peering over the stall, to which you nodded. You stepped inside the toilet and pulled the lever sending you down into it.

You appeared in green fire out of a fireplace, now inside the ministry of magic. Draco appeared in the fireplace next to yours and hurried up to you. You found Hermione, Harry, and Ron standing in front of a giant statue talking amongst themselves. "I'm starting to freak out a bit" said Ron "how long did you say this potion will last?" you asked "I didn't" Hermione answered. "Let's go" said Harry leading everyone to the elevators, you all walked in and some guy stopped the gate from closing. "Cattermole, it's still raining in my office" the man spoke "have you tried an umbrella?" said Ron "you realize I am doing downstairs. . .to integrate your wife?" said the man "if my wife's blood status were in doubt by the law, I think I might make that a priority".

"You have one hour," said the man, allowing the gate to close and walking off. "What am I gonna do?, my wifes all alone downstairs" gasped Ron "Ron, you don't have a wife" said Harry "oh- right, but how do I stop it raining?" asked Ron. "try finite incantatem" said Hermione "good luck Ron" you said "and if that doesn't work?" asked Ron but the elevator already left down. "If we don't find Umbridge in the hour, we find Ron and come back another day" said Harry "I agree" you replied. The gate opened to reveal Umbridge, dressed in her usual all pink outfit.

"Ah Mafilda, travor sent you didn't he" she said "we'll go straight down" she continued. "Isn't this the rest of your stops" said Umbridge urging you, Draco, and Harry to all step out of the elevator. The gate closed behind you and went back down again. You and Draco followed Harry throughout the ministry not really knowing where to actually go. "It's her office" you whispered "confundus" you said flying the workers papers everywhere, with Harry dropping what looked like beads. They turned into toots of smoke and began erupting everywhere allowing you to get in.

"Accio locket" said Harry holding out his wand but nothing happened. You started sorting through her drawers trying to find anything but all you found were files of you and your friends. You exited the room to find everyone staring at you, Draco grabbed you and pulled you back down the hallway to the elevator. "Morning" said Ron notrealinzg it was you "Ron, it's us" you said "oh merlin, I didn't even recognize you all" gasped Ron "where's Hermine?" he asked "down with Umbridge" said Harry.

The elevator gate closed and went all the way down. It opened again to reveal where Harry once went for his trial in 5th year. "It's bloody cold down here" said Ron "we need to get the locket and get out" you said "and Hermione" you added. "The lockets here" said Harry motioning to Umbridge. You and Draco stayed behind while Ron and Harry went forward. "Are you alright?" asked Draco "I'm fine" you said pulling him into a hug. "Stupefy" you heard Harry say, causing you to pull away from Draco. "Aguamenti" you said, flicking your wand causing a massive wave of water to expel from your wand. Draco pulled you back and ran back down the hallway to the elevators as dementors chased you.

The gate closed just as you made it in but the dementors were still trying to get to you. "Expecto patronum" said Harry, sending a ball of light at the dementors, driving them all the way back, allowing for the elevator to go up. "You look like you again" said Ron "we all do" you gasped "we just need to lay low and get out" said Harry. The elevator gate opened to reveal where you first came in through the toilets. You, Hermione, Harry, and Draco all walked forward while Ron stayed behind with Mary Cattermole. "Let's go" you called to him, Ron pulled away from Mary right after kissing her and walked over to you.

"It's Harry Potter" said a man next to you "it's Harry" he continued pointing to Harry. You flicked your wand while holding it at your side causing the man to have his mouth closed up. Draco grabbed you and bolted after Harry, Hermione, and Ron. The law enforcers came from the right screaming after you to stop causing you to run the opposite way. The ministry worker from before came up soaking wet in the elevator and started pushing past people to get to the front. He started throwing curses at you, but missed hitting the statue.

You waved your wand causing the water around the statue to erupt into the air and all behind you. "Bombarda" you said, causing the statue to erupt in a small explosion knocking people back. Harry flicked his wand at a bunch of newspapers sending them flying everywhere, the trapped the man while he struggled to fight them off. He managed to get them off and continued to chase after you throwing curse after curse. "Expeliarmus" said Ron flicking his wand backwards, disarming the man of his wand. Draco lunged into the fireplace with you in his arms and disapperated away. Ron jumped after Hermione but the man jumped in as well.
