Episode # 82:- (The Agonizing Day)
Sanskar came to his senses when Ankush shook him a little. He bent down and immediately picked Swara and laid her down in the back seat. Ankush took the driving seat and drove towards the hospital. "Is he serious?" Sanskar asked after a while. "I don't know because they were taking him to hospital," Ankush replied.
Sanskar asked nothing further and started gazing out of the window. His thoughts lingered on the person lying unconscious in the back seat. What Reyansh is for her, everyone knows.
(Reyansh is significant to everyone in the family. Sanskar's uncle Rohit has five children, two daughters and three sons. However, only their daughters are older than him that's why Sanskar is the elder son of the Agnihotri Family.
His dad has many cousins and mostly has sons only, but nobody is older than Sanskar. As Reyansh, he got the elder brother, and today his life is in danger.)
They reached the hospital, and Sanskar picked Swara from the back seat. He admitted her, and the doctor told him she fainted because of the shock and would be awake in no time. Sanskar took a sigh of relief after hearing this and while making sure that she was sleeping peacefully, came towards the O.T. area.
He found their family members were sitting and standing there. Arush was the 1st one who saw Sanskar and hugged him tightly. A sob escaped from his mouth because Reyansh was just like Sanskar for him.
"How is he?" Sanskar asked after breaking the hug. "He was shot in his chest," Ronit replied and eyed Niharika and Aastha, who were sobbing uncontrollably. Sanskar walked towards them and kneeled in front of them.
"Mom, Bhabi, he is a fighter. He knows very well that everyone in the family needs him, don't worry, we'll not let him leave us like this," Sanskar said while holding their hands in his. Niharika nodded her head and took the crying Aastha in her arms.
Sanskar got up and found Arnav staring at the O.T. with teary eyes. Dev and Advik were beside him; Arnav looked above after feeling Sanskar's gaze. "Dad, you have to bear his teasing for calling Swara his daughter for your entire life," Sanskar said, and Arnav chuckled with teary eyes.
"Where is Swara?" Dev asked when he didn't find her. "She fainted because of the shock, currently sleeping in the room," Sanskar said and eyed around. "Where are Aarav and Samay?" Sanskar asked.
"At home, Mom and Prisha Bhabi are there with them," Arush replied. Sanskar nodded his head and took a shaky breath. Suddenly he realized Yuvaan was also not there. He eyed Arush, who understood his questioning look.
"He went with Kaavish Bhai to investigate," Arush replied, and Sanskar took out his cell phone. He stopped when he found Azlan and Yuvaan were coming in their direction. Behind them was the IG of the police.
"Did you guys find any lead?" Sanskar asked, and all turned their attention towards Yuvaan and Azlan. They all got up from their seats. "It was the false shot; Mr Reyansh was not the target. The target was the person with whom he had a meeting," IG continued.
"Shooter was trying to run, but he got caught. He told us he aimed at the right target, but Mr Reyansh, at the last moment, changed his direction. Mr Reyansh was walking on his left side but came in front of the client when someone came to meet them. The shooter couldn't able to stop because he had already pressed the trigger," IG exclaimed, and all were standing numb in their spots.
"My son was not the target?" Arnav said in a tone of disbelief and sat down on the chair with a thud. "I thought maybe someone took out his enmity, but here Ansh got the punishment of that deed which he hasn't done," Arnav said while choking on his words.
