Episode # 49:- (Her first friend)
Sanskar and Swara talked with their families about the opening of an educational institution. All were happy after hearing this and Reyansh decided that he'll make the design of the building.
"Children, you all are forgetting the major thing," Dev said, and all eyed him. "What uncle?" Advik asked.
"For opening a proper and big institution we need land," Dev said, and all made an "O," face as they forgot about this thing. "Dad, why don't we contact the Shahmeer family, he is your friend, and they have a land on which we can easily build our institution," Ronit said.
"You are right, but it's been a long time since I've contacted my friend Ahmed Shahmeer. I'll call him in the morning," Dev said, and Ronit nodded his head. "If I'm not wrong, then you are talking about that Shahmeer family who has a name in the textile industry?" Arnav asked.
"Yes, Arnav, he is the one. Ahmed and I were class fellows during our school days, till our marriage, we used to hang out, but after marriage, we got busy in our new lives. It's almost two years since I contacted him last time, and he was angry with me because I didn't come to his granddaughter's marriage," Dev said.
"Dadu, how many children he has?" Swara asked, and Dev thought for a while. "Ahmed has five children, three sons and two daughters. His elder son is of our Rohit's age, and one son is the age fellow of Ronit, and 3rd one is the youngest one. Daughters are I think on 3rd and 4th number. You know his house is full of grandsons and granddaughters," Dev said.
"I've met all, the entire family is so loving/caring," Ronit said, and Sanskar remembered that he met a few of them years back. One grandson of Ahmed was of his age. He met him during his university days.
"Ahmed Dadu's one grandson was in our university, Yuvaan remember that Farhan from the medical department?" Sanskar said, and Yuvaan thought for a while. "Yeah, that book warm, many girls used to cry because he never paid heed to anyone other than his books," Yuvaan said and all burst into laughter.
"Tomorrow, I'll call Ahmed, I know he is going to curse me first, but for our little bug, I'll listen to his scoldings," Dev said while eying Swara. Swara grinned widely after hearing this and gave a tight hug to Dev.
"Thank you Dadu, you are the best," Swara said and gave a tight kiss on his cheek. Dev chuckled after seeing this and said, "Sanskar and Arush never gave me a kiss as they always said that it's a girl's thing and Rohit's daughters are abroad, so I always missed a granddaughter, and finally I got one like you," Dev said and patted her cheek with love.
"It's so, cheesy," Sanskar and Arush said together with a nasty face and all burst into laughter after hearing this.
Next Morning:-
"I called Ahmed," Dev said. They all were sitting at the dining table. "What he said?" Ronit asked, and Dev made a face. "Don't know from how long he was collecting the cuss words, for around 20 minutes he kept scolding me," Dev said, and all laughed out loud after hearing this.
"However, he has invited us all today to the dinner and said he would talk with his sons, and then only he can tell his final decision regarding the land," Dev said, and all agreed.
"Swathi, call Niharika and Advik, Ahmed invited all of us, because I told him everything, so he wants to meet all," Dev said, and Swathi said, "Okay Dad."
"Hopefully, they'll agree," Sanskar said, and Dev nodded his head. Later, Swara with Sanskar left for the university as they had to submit her admission form.
"Sanskar, when is the entry test?" Swara asked and Sanskar, who was driving the car, chuckled and said, "Swara, today we are going for the submission, entry test's date we'll get after that."
