Episode # 42:- (Let the past be past.)
("Why you never told me anything? And look what kind of brother I am. I couldn't able to differentiate between your fake and genuine smile," Advik said. He and Ashwani were sitting outside.
Advik stopped his brother-in-law, but Ashwani dragged him from there and took him to the garden area. "You have already had our parents' responsibility on you and then your job. I didn't want to burden you, with my miseries," Ashwani said and wiped her tears.
"You'll not stay here anymore, I'm taking you with me, NOW," Advik said and got up while holding her hand. "Advik, if I'll come then nobody will take care of my children. Already Rajesh (Aastha's eldest brother) and Rajiv are walking on their father's steps, and if I went, they'd become the same as their father. And Aastha is just 7; your brother-in-law will never let me go with my children," Ashwani exclaimed.
"We can go to the court, di. Please come with me," Advik said while kneeling in front of his sister. "Advik, these people are powerful, with me, they'll destroy your life, and I never want that thing to happen," Ashwani said and cupped her brother's face.
"Don't do this di, I'll die in guilt that I couldn't able to do anything for my sister," Advik said and burst into crying. Ashwani had tears in her eyes, her ever-so-brave brother was crying like a child in her lap.
"I've accepted it as my fate, Advik," Ashwani said with a faraway look. "Di, this is not your fate, this is your cowardliness," Advik said in anger. His sister, who used to have positivity in her talks, was talking like a defeated person.
"Whatever you say, but I can't leave my children alone, Advik," Ashwani said, and Advik sighed in defeat. He thought he'd do something for his sister but before leaving his sister said something which shook him to the core.
"You'll never come back here again, Advik. You have, my swear if ever you have taken me as your sister, then you'll not do anything. I'll be happy thinking that my brother is safe and living a happy life with his family," Ashwani said.
"Don't do this, di," Advik said and tried to make her understand, but Ashwani held her hand in front of him and said, "Go, from here Advik."
Advik's heart cried after seeing his sister turning his face from him. That day he went from there, but he planned to bring his sister by hook or by crook. However, he had to leave for a mission, and he came back after 13 months.
He went to see his sister but came to know that she died 3 months back. Ashwani was pregnant, and because of the complications in her pregnancy, both the mother and child died during labor.
Advik protested and tried to take the children's custody with the help of the court.
However, he lost the custody case, and by losing the case, he lost the right to meet his nephews and niece, because his brother-in-law took the restraining orders from the court. Court restricted Advik from meeting the children, or else he had to face the consequences.)
Present:-
"Mom showed me your picture many times. I saw you twice or thrice in childhood. However, you resemble mom a lot, that's why I got a doubt," Aastha told Advik who hugged her again and kissed above her head.
"Every day I died thousands of times by thinking that I couldn't save my sister, but today I'm happy that at least I have you," Advik said.
"Oo my God, Rajiv is my brother? Disgusting," Advik and Aastha heard Yuvaan's voice and broke the hug. They found him standing with a grim face. Aastha felt sad because she thought that he didn't like the fact of her being his sister.
