Random Moment # 2:-
"Aarav, here are the prospectuses of different colleges," Reyansh said to Aarav, who was sitting in the hall and helping Ryan solve the Rubik's cube. Aarav passed his 12th with flying marks, and currently, he is enjoying his holidays.
"Why you have brought the forms of engineering only, Popsi?" Aarav asked with a frown on his face. Reyansh gave him a confused look, "I thought you were interested in engineering," Reyansh exclaimed and eyed Aastha, who also had a confused expression on her face.
All have seen his interest in automobiles. The way he keeps visiting Yuvaan's company, Reyansh thinks that he'll presume engineering only.
"You are forgetting Popsi; I'm not your Xerox copy for namesake. I go to Goenka Automobiles because I like to see how cars are manufactured, but I do that out of my hobby or better to say curiosity. My passion and interest are only in architecture. The way you and Bua design and paint different things, I've fantasized about those things from my childhood. I always dreamed that one day I'll be like you and Bua in architecture," Aarav exclaimed.
"I never knew that my son is such a keen observer," Reyansh said, and Aarav rolled his eyes in return. "You always underestimate Aarav Reyansh Chauhan," Aarav said while pulling his shirt collar.
"Aarav Bhai, pull your collars later, 1st Solve this Rubik's cube," Ryan said with a grim face and all burst into laughter.
Reyansh eyed his son with proud filled eyes. In the small corner of his heart, Reyansh wanted his elder son to take over his business. But he didn't want to force Aarav, ever. However, today his wish comes true when Aarav tells, us that he is interested in architecture only.
Every father dreams that their elder child takes their legacy forward. It doesn't mean that Reyansh didn't want Samay to take over the business. It's just 1st child is always the dearest one, and Reyansh's case is the same with Aarav.
"Dad, have you ever wanted me or Swara to join the politics?" Reyansh asked Arnav. Today he realized when he wants Aarav to take over his business, Arnav might think about the same thing.
Arnav smiled on hearing Reyansh's question. Arnav eying Aarav, who was helping Ryan, took a deep breath. "I never wanted to join the politics," Arnav's reply made Reyansh and Aastha stunned. Niharika was calm because she knew the truth.
"You never told me about this," Reyansh said. "There was nothing special to tell about this thing," Arnav replied with a faraway look. "My father, I mean your granddad was in politics, but he was not a sane one," Arnav said, and Reyansh frowned on hearing this.
"He was like your typical politician, and that was the reason I hated politics. I wanted to become an Architect," Arnav continued, and Reyansh became surprised, followed by Aastha.
"But my father forcefully indulged me in this politics. However, I took a pledge that I would not become like him. In the beginning, I faced critical situations, but I never stepped back. You know Reyansh when you were born; I prayed, wholeheartedly, that you'll never come into politics, and look, even Swara walked on your steps," Arnav stopped for a while.
"You have no idea, son, how ecstatic I was when you and Swara said that you want to peruse architecture. My children have completed and accomplished that dream of mine, which I couldn't able to achieve," Arnav said with happy tears in his eyes.
"And now, I'll be a part of this beautiful dream of yours," Aarav said as he heard everything, that his Dadu said. "I love Dadu, and we all are glad that you are in our lives," Aarav said and took Arnav in a tight hug.
Reyansh wiped the tears and hugged Arnav from the other side. "Hey! Am also here," Samay, who came now only, exclaimed and bear-hugged the trio. "And me?" Ryan asked with a sad pout while standing in front of them.
"How can we forget our little Rey? Come here, my boy," Arnav said and opened his one arm. Ryan grinned widely and snuggled in Arnav's embrace. Aarav and Samay wrapped their arms around Ryan and hugged him tightly. Reyansh kissed their heads one by one and took a deep sigh of satisfaction.
Aastha and Niharika smiled with tears in their eyes. Ryan may be the son of Yuvaan, but they are glad that the love between all is equal.
The End.
