Episode # 38: (Never mess with the outraged Lions.)
"Arnav?" Arnav, who was in shock, heard Dev's voice. He, while composing himself, picked up the cell phone and cleared his throat. "Uncle, give the cell phone to Reyansh," Arnav said, and Dev passed the cell phone to Reyansh.
Reyansh gulped the lump and said, "He.. ll.. o, d. aa. d." Arnav's heart filled with pain after hearing his broken voice. "Ansh, I raised you strong," Arnav said while using his pet name. Reyansh held his sob after hearing Ansh from his mouth.
Arnav always uses his pet name when he wants to show more love towards him. "Dad, I failed her, she always used to say that no harm can touch her because of her brother," Reyansh said and wiped the tears that fell from his eyes.
Sanskar saw his state and sat down beside him. Arnav took a deep breath and said, "Ansh, this time I'm not there, but you have Sanskar and his family. I know my son is strong enough to fight in this situation."
"I will, Dad, I will," Reyansh said, and Arnav asked him to pass the cell phone to Sanskar. "Hello, Dad," Sanskar said.
"Sanskar son, I so wanted to be there with you all, but I know I can't. However, it doesn't mean that I can't do anything. I know the police are looking into this matter, but you guys have to do your investigation. Bring your people I'll call my other trusted people, whatever it takes, but I want my daughter back, soon. And I'm not requesting you, I'm ordering you, this is the order from your father, remember that," Arnav said, and Sanskar nodded his head.
"She'll be back soon, Dad, I promise," Sanskar said and disconnected the call. "Bhabi is awake," Ria said from the stairs, and all went upstairs. They came inside the room and found Aastha sitting on the bed with Samay in her arms.
Her face was void of any emotions. Swathi who saw Reyansh coming got up and let him sit near Aastha. Reyansh with slow steps came near Aastha and sat in front of her. He kept his hand on her arm, and Aastha looked down towards his hand.
A tear escaped from her eye, and Reyansh wasting no second took her in his embrace. One after another sob left her mouth, and she cried incoherently in his embrace. Sanskar took Samay from her lap and asked Arush and Ria to take the kids out.
Aarav was getting worried after seeing his mother crying, but Arush diverted his attention and took him out. "Our child Reyansh, our child," Aastha said and burst into crying again. Reyansh said nothing and let her cry because she needed that.
Suddenly, Aastha broke the hug and asked. "Where is Swara?" she asked, and Reyansh with tears in his eyes shook his head. "She saved Aarav and Samay?" Aastha asked, and Reyansh nodded his head.
"Please bring her back, Reyansh. I lost our child. I don't want to lose her, please bring her back," Aastha said in a crying tone and Reyansh said nothing, just took her in his embrace again.
"Bhabi, what happened last night?" Sanskar asked when she was a little better. Aastha, who was drinking the soup that Swathi was feeding her, took a deep breath and started narrating the events from the last night.
Flashback:-
It was around 10 PM, and Aastha was working in the kitchen. She was baking a cake for Samay's birthday. She tried to put both the boys on their bed, but those little owls were not getting sleep. So, she brought them down with her.
Swara slept early because after many days she cleaned her wardrobe and after doing that hard work she was feeling sleepy like a hibernated bear.
Aastha was decorating the cake when suddenly she heard a thud sound. She turned around and became shocked because her little owls were standing near the counter covered in flour from head to toe.
