Episode # 41:- (What if we'll say it together?)
Sanskar sleep broke when he felt a poke. He opened his eyes and found Swara was poking on his shoulder. She had traces of pain on her face; Sanskar got up immediately and cupped her cheek. "What happened, do you need anything?" Sanskar asked while caressing her cheek.
"I..t...s, pa..in.ing," she replied in a stammering tone, and a sob escaped from her mouth.
"Sshh, here take this," Sanskar said, grabbing the painkiller from the side table. He helped her get up and gave her medicine. Swara lay down again, and Sanskar settled down beside her.
With a little effort, he caressed her hair and Swara turned around and faced him. "I can't sleep without my teddy," she said innocently and eyed him. Sanskar got a smile on his face after hearing this and lying down on his side.
"Come," Sanskar said and helped her to come above him. She winced but came above him and kept her head over his chest. "Are you comfortable?" Sanskar asked while rubbing her back softly. Swara hummed in response and put her head in a comfortable position.
"If I'll confess something, you'll listen?" Swara asked. She was talking at a slow pace because of the weakness and ache in her entire body. "And if before you, I'll confess something?" Sanskar said and looked down at her.
Swara tilted her head towards him and said, "What if we'll together confess that thing?" Sanskar smiled after hearing this and settled down with the support of bed rest, Swara was sitting on his lap.
"I never knew for confessing this, we have to pass from this phase," Sanskar said, and Swara held his hand. "Mutual feelings," she replied. Both were gazing at their entwined hands in silence.
"I love you," both said together and eyed each other. Swara's eyes filled with tears and Sanskar with a smile wiped her tears. "I thought, I'd die without confessing my love," Swara replied and kept her head on his shoulder.
"The moment I realized you were not there, I felt as if someone had snatched my soul, I knew that eventually I'd fall in love with you, but I didn't want that thing to happen like this," Sanskar said and wrapped his arms securely around her.
"Rajiv said he'll take me to Pune and there he'll marry me. That was the moment when I realized I love only you and can't live without you," Swara said and closed her eyes to remove the flashes of those horrible memories.
Sanskar didn't want her to think about those painful days and thought to divert her mind. "Mickey Mouse, love confessions look boring without a kiss," Sanskar said and tilted his head towards her. Swara's cheeks turned red, and she slapped his chest.
"I knew you'd say like this," she said, and Sanskar smirked after hearing this. "So?" Sanskar said and Swara with a pout, "Why should I ask you to kiss me? It should be you," she said and bites her tongue immediately.
Sanskar laughed out loud and said, "Can I kiss my baby wife, NOW?" Swara nodded at her with a shy smile on her face.
Sanskar turned his face towards her and kissed her nose. He cupped her face and slowly kept his lips on hers.
Swara encircled her arms around his neck and kissed him back. They broke the kiss after some time. Because he can't strain or overwhelm Swara more than her capacity.
"I never thought that the unexpected event of our lives would make us realize our love towards each other," Sanskar said. They were sitting comfortably in each other's embrace with Sanskar's head resting above hers.
"How is your pain?" Sanskar asked, and Swara took a deep breath. "It was seriously hell, but the painkiller was good, that's why now it's better," Swara replied. Sanskar said nothing and softly pressed her back to soothe her pain.
