I fumbled with the car keys as I jogged downstairs, ready to just drift off to my house but I stopped dead in my tracks as I hear feminine chuckling from downstairs hallway. Tiptoeing further down a little, I ducked my head behind the stairs to spot Jeremy holding onto Blaire by her waist, giving her small kisses on the side of her forehead.

I feel myself flustered, seeing Blaire in a silky purple nightgown that matched well with Jeremy's satin purple pyjamas. Usually everytime I see them, they would be wearing their work outfit or anything that looked professional. But for now, they indeed looked adorable and still had a great chemistry like they had just went on a honeymoon or something.

Then there's me. Looking like a creep staring at them.

But then I felt my heart dropped, leaving me frowning - wishing that I could see my dad this happy again. He deserves all the happiness in the world and as much as I treasure him and my mother's relationship, I don't want him to stay single forever.

I faked a cough, walking down until I reached the floor as they now acknowledged my presence.

"Milana?" Blaire spoke up. There was a surprised look on both their faces at first but then their lips slowly stretched into a small smile.

"Hi." I awkwardly smiled back in return. "I just came to drop your son off, if you don't mind. He told me to borrow his car to get home."

Blaire nod, sauntering towards me. "Oh, of course. Go ahead. Where did you kids go?"

"Just hanging out with Dre and my best friend."

Blaire cocked a brow, grinning. "You sure, dear? Earlier I saw him wearing like he was going on a date." Blaire raked her eyes over my outfit.

"Well, yeah. Double date." I shyly chuckled.

I hear Jeremy's voice at the back. "Since when does he date apart from that blonde girl?"

Blaire crossed her arms as she slightly turned back towards her husband for a moment. "And doesn't Kade normally gets greedy with his car, honey?" She then exhaled, before suppressing a smirk. "I guess Milana's special."

"I-It's nothing like that." I swatted my hands. "The date was just for fun between friends, nothing serious."

Except for Dre and Sam. I hope it went well, because Sam is still not replying to my text. Should I be worried she's not responding or happy that she is busying herself with Dre?

Jeremy made his way towards us, sluggishly. "Do you think he's a good kid?" He asked, in a gentle tone.

"Um, well I think he's wonderful in an unpredictable way." I frowned before quietly mumbling in a fast pace. "Please don't tell him I said that."
