MY EYEBROWS FURROWED.

I stole small glances at Kai. "I didn't know he's still living here." I spoke.

"I heard he used to be a bit of an outcast in middle school, but that changed in his junior year." Dre told. "He beats Perez's popularity as well, but now it all died down." His lips quirked up into a smirk. "Perez said he was a nerd. I didn't think you'd fall for a nerd, Mila."

"He was super nice to me back then, it's hard not to like him." Dre nod, and I was in fact unconscious to what I was staring at for the past ten minutes.

"So, you fall easily for nice guys?" Dre lifted a brow with a sly grin. I shrug.

"You look like you've just fallen for Francoco there." He was right. I probably was, but my good excuse was because I didn't want to look at anybody else training. They would think I'm a sort of a creep in any way, not that Franco wouldn't think that but it's better to look at someone you know especially that someone who may have hatred for you, which I think Franco does to me.

"Francoco?" I scrunched my nose up to the adorable nickname. Yes, I do find it cute.

"Or Coco, can be both. What I call him since we were fetuses, that kid loves chocolate." He winked. Which kid on earth does not have a sort of craving for chocolate?

"You guys are childhood friends?" I asked him as he nods.

"Since we were ten."

"So how did you guys meet Kade?" I asked them. I haven't had no idea that Dre and Franco goes to my middle school, so it's safe to say that them and Kade are not childhood friends.

"Early sophomore buddies." Dre smiled at me.

"Oh," I slightly gasped.

"What' bout you? You don't go to our school right? Never seen you around, or am I just blind?"

I chuckled and shook my head. "I'm homeschooled."

He slowly nodded. "Exciting..." He trailed, both sarcastically and honestly, I don't know which. Could be both. I don't think he's the type to wanting to be homeschooled.

He looked way too much of a social butterfly.

"Yeah, I can definitely hear the excitement in your voice." I commented as he sent a laugh my way. "You can thank Perez, because he made my middle school life a hellhole. My dad decided to make me learn at home instead. Safe and sound." I grinned, leaning my cheek comfortably on my palm.

Dre laughed at my words and expression. "I'll tell my amigo you're only grateful for that."

"But I was actually curious as to why he didn't strangle me the moment he knew it was me." I rest my chin on my arm.
