I'VE DRIVEN FOR FORTY MINUTES and lent the chauffeur position to Kade. He's still adamant about letting me drive all the way to his chosen destination. My eyes kept darting to his swollen bandaged hand every few minutes. He would just drive with one hand and two fingers below the steering wheel. Hopefully, his hand will heal soon.My mouth chewed on the last piece of my burrito that I didn't get to eat because my hands were busy on the steering wheel. Kade fed french fries to my mouth earlier, which I was weirded out at first but gladly took it because I was craving savory food other than the cake I had earlier. I bit my lip. He had gotten me a cake and lunch. I feel guilty because that's a lot for me already.
My eyes turned to my surroundings as I leaned in front. My eyes squinted from afar to see a top of a rollercoaster. "Theme park?" He hummed in response.
I sunk back to my seat. "I did not expect you to take me this far."
"It's only like an hour and a half." He replied.
"Wow, I've never been here." I blinked, admiring the view of the park as we're nearing.
"You've live here your whole life and you haven't heard about this place?" He raised a brow with a small smirk.
I shrug in response.
"This is where the Blairstone kids always hang out during summer." He commented as his eyes examine the parking lot for a space. He then let out a small grunt. "Just hopefully we won't walk into people I don't want to be talking to right now."
We walked up to the entrance and waited in queue for tickets. There were tons of people lining up but luckily there were five ticket counters. But still, there's like fifteen people in each row. My excitement grew as I examined the park's directory map near the ticket counter.
Kade grunted before running a hand through his hair, agitatedly. "Fuck, I should've booked online."
"Patience is a virtue. Plus the plan seemed last minute too." I sent him a teasing smile as he rolled his eyes, crossing his arms and leaning against the steel barrier.
Once it came to our turn, the guy told us the prices and smack two maps on the counter. I pulled out my wallet and start rummaging for my cash as a palm hid my sight. "Stop." Kade instructed sternly before shoving a hand down his pocket. "You're not paying."
I looked up at him and narrowed my gaze. "Yes, yes in fact I am. You can't be paying for every fucking shit, Perez." I retorted, challengingly. He cocked an brow at me and leaned against the counter as the ticket dude looked at us weirdly. I gave Kade a sly smile before passing a fifty note.
A wide grin formed on my face as we passed through the security. "Where should we start first?" I beamed at him. He cocked a brow before smiling.
"I truly brought you to the right place for a birthday, huh?" He examined the map in his hand before his eyes squinted up, the sunlight slightly blocking his sight. "Well let's see, you want to start with being a wuss puss or a russian daredevil?"
