WE WALKED IN on a blooming make out session between Truman and his girlfriend. I could feel myself internally sighing in relief that they're both fully clothed, except for my amigo who's currently shirtless with his sweatpants lowering down everytime he moves. Milana stared at him, shaking her head like she's used to the sight. Meanwhile, I shoved an extra cushion at his crotch.
"Shit Mils, what the fuck?" Sam groaned at her best friend, leaning her head back onto the couch and shut her eyelids.
"We bought you guys tacos." Milana grinned naughtily, waving the paper bag at them side to side. "I was kind of expecting this, thank god y'all still covered. C'mon, we told you we'll be here in ten, got carried away?"
She glanced at me, seeing my faint smirk.
Sam rolled her eyes at her as Dre just stuck his tongue out in return, seemingly unbothered. "Doesn't take long for her to fall for my charm." He leaned forward and bit her bottom lip, pulling it forward and letting it go. Sam lightly pushed his shoulder.
"Wanna join in, you two?" Dre slyly winked.
"Jodete." I grunted, heading to the kitchen to try get myself some water.
Dre grabbed the pillow before grinning. "You're just mad cause you can't get it." I shoot him a threatening glare, letting him cut himself off as he sent me a tight-lipped smile. Sam's fingers rummaging through the paper bag then filled the room.
"Where's the tacos, I'm starving."
Dre ended up putting a movie that I hadn't pay attention to the title since the start, or probably he had mentioned it three times and I might have forgotten. I guess I could admit I'm picky with movies, and that I would only watch ones that I had seen or ones that had great reviews. I was not the one to just scroll down Netflix, to be honest.
Unlike Dre Truman, sometimes picking out the shittiest films and ended up sleeping on it later. Actual waste of time. But this time, it's the two girls that slept. Dre eyes were not focusing on the film, it's just barely surviving and trying to pry it's lids apart.
Milana on the other hand, sitting there with her hands on her lap and her knees bent. Her back leaned against the armrest. She tried to pry her eyes open before finally letting herself go. I bit my lip. She looked so lonely there alone on the couch. I glanced back at Sam and Dre to see Sam had her eyelids half closed, close to sleeping like her best friend. Her body laid against Dre's chest as his half lidded eyes were still watching the television. Or maybe only his eyes were because he looked like his mind is off elsewhere.
Since earlier, I held back the urge to wanting her to stay close to me so she had been alone on the couch for about two hours. I didn't like the fact that Dre and her best friend was here so I've been stealing glances at her, making sure they won't notice. I guess I didn't feel comfortable with showing that I may have a soft spot for Milana Cavallero and that they may be right.
