ONCE WE ARRIVED, I quickly jogged to the building with Dre behind me. He was surprised at how I was managed to drive so fast, faster than my usual kind of drive I guess. Well it was for emergency anyways, and it was the first time Dre had ever immediately securing himself with a seatbelt while the car was still moving.

Reaching upon the reception, I instantly saw my dad's best friend standing next to the coffee vending machine. His right hand holding an empty cup while his left holding a fully filled coffee in a cup. "Bill!" I yelled his name, immediately receiving his attention. "Where's Andre? How's he?" I spoke while panting.

He tilted his chin slightly above towards the side direction. "He's in there."

I jogged to the room that he pointed at and swiftly opening it. There I saw my dad sitting on the hospital bed with his teeth gritted and his eyes slightly closed, but when he heard my heavy breaths, his head tilted slightly up. He blinked before quietly murmuring my name.

"Dad." I paused for a second to breathe in some air. "Dad, are you okay?" I looked at him while examining his arm that had a bandage on it. I could see slight red brownish color appearing in the center of the white cloth. It wasn't spreading much, so I guess he doesn't loose a lot of blood. That could've been worrisome.

"I'm fine, don't worry, I'm alright. Just a slash on the arm." There he goes. Pulling the I'm fine line again. Slash on the arm, I can't even hear those words without trying to know how that felt. From the look of his expression, he seems a little far from fine. But since I'm here, he's probably trying to control the pain. "Was it Bill again?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.

I nodded. "Yes." He groaned and inhaled some air before weakly opening his eyes and surveyed someone behind me.

"Who's this?" A smile quickly appeared on my face. I totally forgot Dre the Cheeseball is here, next to me but I am glad they finally met. "Dre, the one I told you about." Looking at Dre, I saw him swallowing his saliva. But I had no clue why. He kind of looked a little frightened. Was it by my dad? Who knows. "Hello, sir."

"Just call me Andre, she said you two been getting close ever since that night, ey?" My Dad gave him a small smile.

"Wild strange night," Dre chuckled breathily while scratching the back of his neck. "Your daughter is an amazing girl, Andre."

Dad had a smug look and laughed as a blush took over my cheeks. I exhaled. Dre has this effect on me all the time and it's getting embarrassing. "So I've heard. Don't be fooled by the looks." My dad added with a teasing smirk. What's that suppose to mean? I looked confusingly at him.
