I DID NOT WANT to go in at first.
But when I finally saw Dre, I took twenty minutes blabbering random things with him, drinking a sip from each five minutes of the lemonade that I used earlier for the peach sangria, which I couldn't drink of course. How will I drive home later if I did. Even if I did drink it, dad won't be happy.
I informed Dre about meeting his classmates, Quinn and Glenn. They are not one of his closest friends but they do talk a lot during only classes because Quinn was as outgoing as Dre. He told me Quinn is one of the coolest girls he ever met, instead of being girly on her looks. She usually wears jersey jackets, had her nose pierced and her hair dyed a different color every two months. He was surprised she didn't lose her damaged hair like Glenn who's bald. But Glenn liked it that way.
He then told me Glenn was a bit of a strange person. Sometimes when he couldn't believe you, or at most times, there is serious expression plastered on his face. This was normal actually. He doesn't usually smile, when he does, it's over something stupid or something he really liked. He's one of the people that got bullied a lot in middle school and also in high school, but that stopped when he became friends with Quinn that stood up for him during sophomore year. Let's say she did it in a sarcastic way but does that stop Glenn from wanting to be her friend? Nope.
I think I see Quinn as my role model at the moment. I guess I was never like her during middle school. Hell I think of myself being such a pussy. Have I even dared to pour pepsi over Kade Perez or even punch him in the face that time? Obviously, I shown myself to be braver now.
But then didn't feel any better cause Kade Perez is a grown ass tiger now.
When Dre had told me about how Glenn was constantly bullied, I could feel myself relating to Glenn so much, because I had that experience too by the devil and his roaches. Luckily, they weren't here like they were in his house few days ago. I would probably dash out of the neighborhood immediately.
Then I told myself, Quinn and Glenn are not bad at all to be friends with. Our first encounter was not bad, and they helped me find this cheeseball himself. I had also asked why she called him pumpkin-headed cheeseball. He said that Quinn thinks he's a very cheesy person, especially when it comes to his jokes. And at that moment, he was trying to give me some of his cheesy jokes which I stopped him from doing so because I may hurt my tummy.
Laughing at jokes that I shouldn't even find funny.
The pumpkinheaded cheeseball term came from when in Kade's halloween party, someone purposely stuck a pumpkin—that was empty inside and with a hole on the top onto Dre's head. Unfortunately, it fits him. When he told me this, a bark of laughter escaped my throat. Glenn actually took a video of it, because Quinn suggested so. Now I feel like watching the video and laughing to myself.
