WELL, I GOT CAUGHT.
Running up to Kai, he heard my footsteps but proceeding to ignore me. What was it like for someone who's super kind to you to act like that in all of a sudden? It felt like shit. "Kai!" I yelled, trying to receive his attention before I run any further and loosing more of my breath. I have to say he is one of a fast walker. Luckily, he stopped, but that doesn't make things better when he sent me a pissed off face.
"Um, firstly I wanted to apologiz-" I panted and was immediately cut off by his infuriated voice.
"For having a chat with Kade fucking Perez and his mates like you're all good friends? Please explain why you're hanging out with your childhood torture tool, Milana. You were running from him last week. Is there something I don't know?" He asked within a serious tone. Just looking at him made me speechless. Last thing I want is my old crush to dislike me. I didn't even know where to start.
"I-" I exhaled. "-actually there is." My voice stuttered.
"What about some ice cream first?" I suggested, panting. He sighed but nodded.
I decided to go somewhere, walk somewhere that is further away from Kade, Dre and Franco. I'm sure Franco is the only one that doesn't give a shit. I didn't want them spying on me while having a conversation with Kai. We stopped at a nearby cafe which was on the other side of where I was before. As we sat down, I let the cat out of the bag.
"And that's the story. We were having conversation about what happened yesterday as we got curious. I hope you understand." I bit my lip in anticipation to see his expression.
"That was...quite the story." His eyes blinked at me as I awkwardly chuckled.
"My kind of revenge is bizarre, huh?" I bit my lip, looking down at the table.
He shrugged. "It's a good kind of bizarre. No wonder why his parties couldn't last until five in the morning." he snickered.
"Well yeah that's that."
He gazed at me sternly. "Do you like being friends with them?"
"Who? Dre?"
"Yes."
I smiled. "Yeah, I adore him and his personality. Franco seems nice as well. I don't want anything to do with Perez but his family is very welcoming to me." With just the mention of Kade's surname, his eyes was rolling. You, me and Erik. Buddy.
