YESTERDAY, I spent hours talking about random things like usual and having fun with Dre. He showed me this park he would always go with Franco's sister, Fae. It was so fun that I couldn't stop the smile on my face from disappearing, even if Dre did crack some of his cheesy jokes up. We had decided to watch a puppet show in the middle of the pathway; feeding the ducks and fishes, eating ice cream and popcorn. All that etcetra.

We actually debated on bringing Fae or not, but it would be a good idea to let her stay in the house because Franco needs someone to lighten his mood up. That girl is like a ray of sunshine. I'm not sure if it worked, maybe just temporarily because they've been living together for few years now. Meanwhile, his other little sister won't help because Faye is one grumpy and stubborn kid, a storm in the clouds. No happiness tinted on her face whatsoever, even if she is doing something she really enjoyed doing.

Another thing was that, Dre really wanted to spend time with me alone, so he did and he liked it. He said he had a couple of friends who are girls, including Quinn but he feels like I'm the closest one to him, even if I had only known him for four days. That just made me special inside. He had told me stuff that only Franco and Kade knew. I don't even know why exactly that he had been telling me his life and embarrassing moments, but he feels comfortable since I knew Kade, and now I'm starting to know Franco — well barely. Then I should get to know Dre as well.

        "Thank you, dear."

The old lady who's in her forties gracefully smiled at me after I had helped picked up the apples that were rolling around in this alleyway street, feeling appreciative of what I just done.

Feeding the homeless is one of the best volunteering work for home schooled kids like myself. There is twice more people volunteer to feed the homeless than go hiking in the woods, not that they're lazy or anything, but they really enjoyed meeting the people who had been living in the streets and being social with them. I usually do this volunteering work all the time, mainly because I loved the feeling of it and being generous to those who have less.

I bent my knees up, standing straight as I returned her polite smile. "No worries," I paused before grabbing a tupperware containing two slices of pizza and a bread as well as a bottle of water — bringing it to her chest. "Here, for you."

Her eyes travelled down to my hands as she gasped. "Oh my, thank you. I wanted to sell my apples but no one seemed to buy it, and I needed the money for food. Thank you so much!" She squealed, didn't hesitate to take the tupperware and bottle off of my hands.
