SAM STUCK HER TONGUE OUT."You really should cut him off some slack."
Seemingly entertained by my action, she shook her head. Resulting in me looking like an immature kid compared to her. FYI, we're both nearly graduating high school.
To say that she had only repeat these words only a few times, I'd be lying. This is probably the hundredth time. Sam is ridiculously smart, but more so in a non academic way. She acknowledged the fact that I'm always in denial with her advice — but doesn't seem to really care at the end of the day. So to state it briefly, she repeats the same shit to tease me and get amused by it but does nothing to help prevent it.
My eyes vertically rolled upwards before dialing my dad's number as soon as I saw the coast was clear — everyone's inside his humble abode or at his backyard.
"Whatever, he deserves it." I harshly replied, scrunching my nose up in disgust.
Stopping what I'm doing now just show how much of a pussy I am so I have to step up my game. Well that pretty much doesn't make sense since this was a daily routine for two years already. Yes I know. Hiding behind bushes can be a coward move but can you really blame me though?
I bet you I would die in the hands of him if I step just one toe on his lawn.
He'll cut my toe off.
Sam teasingly snickered. Supposedly, it's purely entertainment for her to whenever I invited her to see the crap I was doing. It was supposedly fun for her to watch. I could say the same for me as well but at the end of the day —it was a serious matter. Comes with a good reason to do it, not just fun and games. "What would you do if I crash your party — every single time?" Her eyes darted to me a challenging smirk.
"I don't party, Sam. You know that's not my thing." I wearily told, letting out a sigh.
She cocked a brow, tilting her head to the side in order to receive my attention. But I was too focused on Kade's house that I might have forgotten half of the words Sam blurted out. "That's because you've never been to one."
She's got a point to prove.
However, I still feel like I'm not going to enjoy it even if it meant going there for the first time. Even the lingering presence of these drunk imbeciles and filthy smell of beer, body odor, and sweat would prevent me from going there, plus especially Kade Perez's. We're not even gonna talk about the kids getting high at his backyard. The overwhelming smell of marijuana? I've had enough smelling those on the streets.
When Sam realized I wasn't going to reply any soon, she decided to spit out words. "Alright then, so would you give two fucks if I break your playstation?"
