!TW! Slight Gore

Elisabeth blinked her eyes, quickly noticing that she was being shaken. Slowly turning over she noticed the boy standing next to her bed. "Alastor...what time is it?" She asked groggily, pushing herself to sit up and glance at the clock. "For goodness sakes, Aly it's one in the morning. Why are you awake?" She asked, glancing down at him. "Anthony's here." He said simply. Elisabeth brought a hand up to run her eyes as she processed what he said, still mostly asleep. "He's what?" She asked, glancing down at the boy. "Anthony got in trouble, can he stay here?" Elisabeth glanced at the door, moving to the edge of the bed and stood up. "What on earth is he doing up so late? He's seven, you both have school. Why are you up so late?" She mumbled, pulling on a robe and walking to the door. Anthony was standing by the front door, fidgeting with his shirt. "Anthony, what on earth are you doing here so late?" She asked as she walked down the steps. "Uh...my parents are yelling and pops is getting really angry so I thought maybe I could come here?" He explained nervously. Elisabeth sighed, letting the boy in and closing the door. "Okay, give me a minute. Alastor go to bed." She said simply. Alastor nodded at her and walked up the stairs, glancing back at Anthony before he closed his door. Elisabeth walked into the lounge and took a few spare blankets out of a closet, placing them on the couch. "Get some sleep. We can sort this out in the morning." She said as she walked into the front hallway to get him. Anthony nodded and walked into the lounge. "Thank you Mrs. L." Elisabeth sighed, shaking her head as she walked back upstairs. "You're welcome. Goodnight dear."

Elisabeth stood in the kitchen preparing breakfast, she could hear Alastor and Anthony talking in the other room, and while she didn't want to ease drop, she couldn't help but smile at their conversation. It was always a joy to see just how happy they were with each other. Anthony seemed to be happier as well. So it was a nice feeling to know he felt safe here, even if his situation wasn't exactly pleasant. Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she turned around, seeing the familiar pair of blue eyes. "Oh. You're back." She said, an unamused glare crossing her face. The shadow nodded.

The woman rolled her eyes. "I know you are. But that doesn't mean you didn't hurt them." The entity merely shook it's head. Grabbing a pen and paper out of a drawer, scribbling something down and sliding it over to her. Elisabeth picked up the note, quickly skimming over it. "Elisabeth..confused and conflicted...explain actions I don't get...Anthony won't.." she looked up at it. "What do you mean 'Anthony won't leave your mind'?" She asked, cocking a brow.

Elisabeth nodded a few times, folding the paper and putting it in head breast pocket. "Well, let's talk this over shall we?" She asked, walking out of the kitchen and upstairs. Closing her bedroom door and sitting on her bed. The entity appears by the door. "Well?"

Anthony glanced up at Alastor, him having passed out on the couch. Smiling to himself he adjusted his position to lay on top of him, wrapping an arm tightly around his torso. Slowly drifting off himself.

Elisabeth listened quietly as the shadow explained itself, nodding her head every now and again. "So what you're saying is, you know they aren't your emotions, but you feel the same love for Anthony as Alastor does?" She asked, tilting her head. The entity nodded. "Well...I'm not sure what to say to you. We both know that, while you're very similar...you aren't the same person. And Anthony is in love you Alastor." She explained as gently as she could. The entity sat against the bed next to her. "So...if you still want to be around him, just be there for him I guess? I don't know much about this situation. But if you love him, you want him to be happy, right?" The shadow glanced up at the ceiling, nodding its head before disappearing.

As Alastor came too, he looked down at the sleeping blonde, and brought a hand up to run through his hair. Taking a sigh of relief and enjoying the peace, when suddenly....

Alastor quickly looked around, the room looked scorched, the walls blackened in certain areas. Anthony felt cold to the touch on top of him. His entire body hurt, some kind of sharp pain in his body, mostly his legs. His hands were slightly shaky, looking down at them, blood soaked and dripping. "What the-" quickly covering his mouth, the metallic taste of blood coating it, dripping down his chin a bit when he spoke. he could hear yelling, he couldn't make out who the voice was, but it was loud. He shut his eyes tightly. What was happening? What the hell was happening?!

When he opened his eyes again, he saw...just the room, the way it was. All pain was gone, Anthony was his normal self, no screams...no anything. His look of confusion turned to a frown. Snapping his fingers a few times, while remaining careful as to not disturb Anthony. The shadow appeared in front of him. "Yes Alastor?" The brunette glared at the entity. "What did you do?" He asked, his tone dead serious. "What are you talking about?" "Don't play dumb. What was that? What I just saw!" He whisper yelled. The shadow stared at him for a few seconds. "Alastor, we have done nothing. Nothing of significance happens today. You saw nothing...we showed you..." it stopped eyes widening. "We can recall every detail of your life. But we are seeing memories now that have...never happened. This didn't happen...Alastor what happened?" The brunette blinked his eyes in shock. "You're asking me? I don't just see things for no reason." He snapped back. The entity glanced around the room, seemingly...nervous? What was happening? "Alastor. These memories you now have are new to us. We know everything about you, your past your future, everything. This never happened and yet we both remember it." Alastor cocked a brow. "Never happened? Are you suggesting that something about my life has changed?" The entity shook its head. "No...these are memories that...weren't supposed to happen yet. Everything you saw wasn't meant to happen today. We don't understand how it happened." Alastor stared at it. "Not yet? So...what I've seen...will happen one day?" He asked. The entity nodded. "In the distant future...but how did you see it?"

The shadowy figure appeared in the now empty bedroom of Anthony's home. Not that of Alastor but someone else, something else. It summoned a gun anyone in that house would have recognized, smirking to itself as it slipped the pistol into one of his drawers. Only one way to drive them away. Once gone, Alastor would finally be ready to meet them, and move on to the next step to becoming the monster he was meant to be.

I'm so sorry for the short chapter. I have really bad writers block if you couldn't tell. I know what happens next, but I need to put something in between now and the next conflict without just jumping forward a few months. So....Yeah

On another note, just released a bit of a preview on the next AU for when this one is done. It's isn't the sequel, It's completely different. Entirely different actually, this is way out there when it comes to how I normally write AU's. Normally I stick to the plot of hazbin, at least a little bit. Here I just threw everything out the window. But hey! That's not to bad. Now when I finish this I'll have something to write! :))
