Part 3

It was 9:00 when i entered the house. I didnt have any time to get cleaned up or even wrap my wound in fear that there would be more agents sent to get me.

I was set up.

I planned to go to the house, clean up, feed Doja and then sneak out later and pay the politician a visit. This was so much bigger then just illegal documents. No sane person would send a trained army after them like that especially now that i know about the usb. And then there's mysterious guy who i left knocked out on the floor. I had so many questions and no answers.

Walking into the seemingly quiet house a headache began to form and i heard multiple gasps probably because of the state I was in.

Surprise surprise the whole family was there. Aries and Astraea ran up to me and engulfed me into a hug which I stiffened at. Doja came running again and started barking at the sight of blood on me and began sniffing me.

"What the hell happened? Who's blood is that? Are you bleeding? what happened?" She rushed out as Aries found my only injury. Apart from the cut on my collar bone.

"listen, ill be okay i just need to- fucking hell" i ran my hand across my face wanting to just go the bed "i was hurt i just need to wrap my arm and ill be fine" i give my triplets a soft smile contrasting my current mood, picked up Doja spinning on my heel and starting to head to the stairs before a voice stopped me.

"When your done we need to have a chat young lady, we've had a whole team out looking for you" Leonardo announced. I paused and then carried on walking.

Half an hour later i was out the shower with a healing arm wearing Aries's hoodie and a pair of sweatpants. I made sure to hide the usb and folder too. I headed back downstairs with Doja in my arms despite him being almost too big, and I saw everyone sat on the couches. I sat on a single couch.

"You can't just not speak to any of us since we brought you here and then leave the house and come back covered in blood, we're your family we need to know what's going on" Leonardo spoke as everyone else stayed quiet, gauging my reaction.

I threw my head back and laughed "yOur mY fAmiLy, is that some sort of joke" I looked at the eldest four sons and there parents shaking my head twisting and playing with his fur.

"What's funny" Alistair asked with a curious expression in his face.

"What's funny is that you think you can pop out of no where and expect everything to be okay" I paused for a second "News flash it doesn't work like that, the only people in the room that I consider my family is Aries and Astraea, you guys are pathetic to think I would ever consider you my family"

Lie lie Lie.

Regret regret regret. Why did u say that.

Tears gathered in Rowenas eyes and I spoke once more "family doesn't abandon each other with no reason, I'm not going to beg for an explanation or even bother to apologies for asking for one because you owe it us, it was the least you could have done" I smiled sarcastically and spoke again.

"You 4 claim to be our brothers but where were you when we were sent away huh, last I checked phones and texting was a thing so what was stopping you? Was one phone call enough too much as it was? Don't throw the we were protecting you bullshit because if that was the case why did we keep our surnames why-"

A chorus of "that's enough" and "stops" flooded the room but Aries and Astraea stayed quite only moving to sit next to me and hold my hand for support.

"We know what we did was wrong and nothing we can say will change that but your still our little girl-" Leonardo began before Doja growled a tiny bit at him sensing my anger.

"I'm not that little girl anymore okay! I have searched for my mothers love in all corners of the world and hey who would have thought that my father would break my heart before any boy or girl got the chance to"

I stared him in the eye "we may be biologically related but the only emotional attachment I have to you is anger, at least now I know that my bloodline is irrelevant to my value" standing up from my seat and laying Doja down I walked into the kitchen to make something to eat. I was fucking starving.

As I was making a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich Raidan and Silas came in with upset expressions on there faces.

"We're sorry, we're so so sorry, we're your big brothers and it was supposed to be our responsibility to watch out for you and be there for you, stand up for you if you ever needed it and we failed. I'm sorry we abused that responsibility towards you" Raidan spoke. He genuinely looked like he was going to cry.

"When you left it affected all of us differently and we know thats no excuse but we're willing to try and be better older brothers for all three of you, just give us one more chance, we're so sorry sorrellina" Silas admitted.

I finished making my sandwich "It's okay" i licked my lips "i dont expect you guys to give us a reason for why we were sent, thats not in your control so I can't take the consequences out on you two" i nodded at them and walked past them heading upstairs "alls good don't worry"
