"Someone care to explain what the fucks going on" I walked into the room literally everyone apart from Nyx looking at me in shock and pity leaving me confused until I realised they could see my eye.

I was crushed into a delicate hug by Silas who whispered a small 'thanks for saving me you little shit' followed by Leonardo Aries Raidan and Alastair, Astraea coming to a stop in front of me last.

I stared at her void of emotion. My triplet. My only sister, the one who I knew better then myself. The one who betrayed me and knowingly got with the enemy.

"I'm sorry" she spoke biting her lip as everyone stared at me as though it was some sort of soap opera

I was speechless my head fumbled with words as I was overcome by different emotions. I was angry. Very angry at her but another part of me told me to forgive her. But what if she did something like that again. Someone always said if they did once they'll do it again.

"You didn't seem to be sorry when you were screaming about how you wouldn't consider me your sister and how I'm a monster" i quietly spoke causing her to flinch

"I said don't talk to me again and I meant it"

I walked up to Nikolai who was at the front of the room and stood next to him, his hand moving to sit at the small of my back in support.

"Why are you all here" Nik demanded, in the presence of other people -except for Elira and Alfie who he didn't tease and bully like he did me- he was always serious and acted as though he doesn't have emotions.

"We're going to figure out a way to kill everyone who's after you to. Nikolai we know they're after you as-well" Lucien spoke as I contained my anger

If my theory about him knowing it's his best friend Milo Marks behind this and he's working with them is true I would have to stop myself from hurting him father or not.

"Phoenix" he called me as I ignored him, I refuse to talk to a liar or someone who knowingly put my life at risk, whether my theory true or not about him being an enemy he still knew Milo, they best friends and his second in command he must have figured it out.

"Phoenix don't ignore me please I'm your father" he begged.

"How many time have I told you to stop calling yourself my father" i hissed turning my head to funeral lady

"Who are you" to see if she would lie of course I knew who she was. Also remember the stranger guy who snuck in and out of my fake funeral and Nik took a picture of? His face came up with no results worldwide.

"I'm Diana" she spoke, she was dressed in a pale blue elegant suit and had her hair tied back into a low bun "Diana Monteverde"

She didn't lie

"Your Hazels sister" I asked, she had the tattoo from the direct bloodline but she didn't have the famous hazel eyes. Was she adopted?

They all froze in place, Rowena flinching backwards as though I'd just revealed some weird secret

"I am" Diana spoke slowly as I was too focussed as to why the family flinched

"Phoenix we're offering you to come stay with us" Kat spoke up from her seat next to Diana

"Don't feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do okay anything you'd excuse and we're backing you on that you have our support" Diana nodding her head with her
