How I Survived

Part 9

Last night was not as bad as I thought it would be, we ate, spoke a bit, joked and made fun of each other like normal siblings.

The only problem was that when I emptied my bag back at home I found a note that I did not put there.

So i have to add that to my ever growing list of things to do today.

I've made a checklist:
1) Call the forensics team and see if they found anything substantial in the remains of the house.

2) call Aleksnader about the Ken gas and the supplier.

3)Check the cameras for the store I told my family to get the set up USB and see if anything shady has happened.

4) visit Rose's parents- they were notified about her passing but I wanted to personally talk to them.

5)decode the note I was given and as a precaution go through the restaurant footage from last night and see if I can find who put it there.

6)figure out what exactly the code in the folder I took meant and the usb from the safe.

7)somehow at the end of the day I will have to piece what I can together, see how it all links and then kill some motherfuckers.

So let today begin.

"What have you cooked for breakfast" I asked Aries entering the kitchen.

Half the family was sat around eating and talking.

"Pancakes and waffles, take what you want" and so I did.

Astraea sat next to me eating and started texting someone, her lips curving and a sparkle in her eyes

"Texting someone special"

Cheeks tinting red and fingers clasping the phone with a death grip "whaaaaat I don't know what you talking about"

"Hmmm sure sure I totally believe you" i cheekily smiled

"Okay fine" she's the worst at hiding small stuff like this.

"Before we left last night this girl came up to me and gave me her number and we've been texting all night and morning"

I've honestly never seen my sister more happy before.

"Aw baby Astraea is whipped" Aries teased and she denied all accusations.

"Crush crush crush" he started chanting as Leonardo walked in the kitchen with Lucien.

"Excuse me kids who here has a crush" Lucien shook his head, amusement swirling in his eyes and Leonardo smirked.

"No papa I don't, tell him to stop annoying me"

She literally just snitched on herself.

"Aries stop annoying your sister"

"Yeah Aries stop annoying your sister" Silas mimicked and slapped the back of his neck taking one of his pancakes

"get your own food your fat shit"

"Language" Rowena scolded.

"Are you heading out today" Raidan inquired.

"Yeah I am, busy day"

"What time we'll you be back you little shit we have plans" Alistair sat on one of the chairs.
