How I Survived

Part 12

Walking down the crowded streets i was supposed to meet mysterious person on in two days time, i munched on a burger and fries that i bought from a small street stand.

Walking around casually and blended in i mentally made a note of all exits and cameras until something caught my eye, well more like someone staring directly at me.

It was a guy in a suit, he was in his late 30s from what i could see but that wasn't what stood out the most about him.

He looked like a fresh version of blondie from the other day.

Not wanting to ditch my food i stuffed the rest of the burger into my mouth and stuffed the fries into my pockets.

With that i was off, kind of like a super hero really, my white chip stuffed jacket as my cape.

I formed a quick plan in my head "hey!" I got the attention of nearby civilians "he stole my purse" i pointed to pointed blondie who looked like a dear in the headlights.

He turned around and started running as many people started to try and stop him, all failing though.

I switched on my phone and began running telling Siri to call Alexander "no time for small talk" i cut a sharp corner "in town the corner street off the bird statue one, I'm chasing a blonde suit i need a facial recognition and possible streets i can take to overtake him"

"Got it" hearing multiple keys being pressed i upped my pace, aware that i could possibly be lured into a trap "okay take a left and scale the green dumpster" doing as i was told "i knew i should have worn trainers today, fucking idiot"

Landing on my feet i took off in another sprint "okay a right in 20 seconds and you've got him, your looking at a Mr Crowman, no listed family except for a twin, identical actually"

I ended the phone there and as i heard his footsteps approach the alleyway I waited for the perfect moment.

I grabbed his wrist twisted it and kicked the back of his knee, forcing him to be on his knees as one of my hands held his wrist behind him and the other held a knife to his throat "you have five seconds to tell me why the fuck your following me before i slit your throat"

"Okay okay, I wasn't going to hurt you i swear, they just told me to follow you and they'll give me my brother back"

"How does your brother look"

"Blonde hair-"

"For fuck sake"

"Listen, we can make a deal okay, you get my brother back and I'll tell you everything i know okay, they're all scared of you, you can help me" he pleaded, desperation in his voice.

Now how was i supposed to tell him his brother was dead? I wasn't, well for now anyways.

It's time to show you exactly why I have a lot of enemies.

"I'll fetch your brother and you tell me everything you know about these people and if you just as much as lie to me i will cause you more pain than you could ever dream of" I pressed the blade against his neck, drawing blood to show him how serious i am.

"You have my word, i just want my brother back"

Little did he know he would be getting his brother back in a body bag.

"Follow me"

We walked side by side as i called Leonardo speaking in french "la nuit dernière, il y avait un homme blond d'âge moyen avec une balle dans la tête, i need him taken to the warehouse on 45th, the door should be open already"
(Last night there was a middle aged blonde man with a bullet shot to the head)

"Okay, me, papa, Astraea and Alistair will be there just in case along with Kaiden who's my second in command"

With that i ended the phone "I'm Jonathan by the way" he gave me a small nod "you dont have to tell me your name" he nervously chuckled "i already know it, hell I think everyone already know it, your literally a legend, is intrigue that when-"

"Stop talking" i took fries out my pocket and started eating them, this day was not going how i expected it to go.

I'm sorry this is kind of short, I'm in online classes right now and I have my mocks in 2 weeks so I'm a lol stressed😩

This is kind of a slow burn romance ways so things we'll start getting spicy soon.
