We walked inside one of the Monteverde bases which was basically a huge building with offices.

The Monteverde's have bases all across the world for training, living and safe houses.

Everyone immediately recognised Diana and were confused as to who I am. People in the underworld mainly knew me by my name not my face.

She walked into one of the offices telling me to wait there whilst she made a phone call to Chris telling him about me.

I was bored waiting so I walked out of the office and into some sort of cafeteria seeing Kios there waving at me. I gave a shirt wave back and inspected the area.

It was large classy and looked expensive as fuck, I carried on walking until I came across a huge corridor full of paintings, one in particular standing out to me.

Hazel

She looked so much like me it's crazy, me being younger, having one blue eye and curly hair was literally the only main differences

"She was beautiful wasn't she" Diana appeared next to me with an iPad in hand

"This corridor is full of each ruler from the immediate bloodline. Hazel didn't get to rule but she was supposed to" she looked around sadly at the amount of paintings "you'll be up there someday" she smiled softly at me as the realisation kicked in of how much responsibility I'm going to have

I know shit all about running an assassin agency

"Come one let me give you a tour" she gave me a pretty detailed tour of the whole building giving me an overview of life for an agent working under them and the sorts of responsibilities I'd have to have.

She didn't tell me anything about Chris's reaction to having a granddaughter so that sort of left me on edge.

Although she did say how the news is going to be announced to the rest of the Monteverde bloodline. Obviously not immediate since I'm technically the last one.

She told me that later on id be trained by Chris himself if I'm deemed worthy to run the Monteverde's on what exactly I have to do and how to do it.

Apparently i have to pass a bunch of tests to prove that I'm strong enough, that's kind of bullshit but I honestly didn't think I'd have much of a choice.

We spent around 3 hours all together talking as she showed me a lot of new things, leaving us to end up back in the main room.

She stood at the front and cleared her throat "everyone I'd like your attention please"

She was literally going to reveal one of the most biggest surprises in the underworlds history

"This is Phoenix Hera Salvatore she's to be treated with the most upmost respect" she paused for a moment "she's hazels daughter"

As people put my surname and the fact that I'm hazels daughter together an uproar of shouting and surprised screams followed, everyone trying to get to me to see. To see what though, I honestly have no clue it wasn't like I had a huge sign about it printed on my forehead

We got through the crowds after shaking a few hands and I said goodbye to Diana since she was going to stay here and I wanted lunch

I ended up having a phone conversation to Seph, Amren and Alexander who were together and Alfie who called to tell me they found out the news was out

Suddenly my phone rang once more and the contact name made me freeze.
