"I'm kind of scared" I admitted sitting in front of the laptop, I could confidently take down a group of trained men but was apprehensive about opening a laptop

"I'll be here the whole time don't worry" Nik mumbled from besides me

I had the laptop that Lucien told me to take from the storage locker and thought it was about time to check it out

"Password" I murmured to myself

"Try you name" Nik suggested

"Nope" I sighed

"You birthday"

"Wait maybe it's..." I said typing something

Correct password ---loading

"That was her nickname to you" he realised having seen me type precious

I hummed and saw the computer was empty except for one single file

The file contained a whole load of documents with random letters as names so I slowly clicked the top one holding my breath for a second

"So I'm 36 pregnant and this little girl growing inside me won't stop kicking" it was a younger hazel and it was like she was vlogging her self

The scene changed to her holding a small baby on a couple of days old "so this is Phoenix Hera Salvatore" she grinned

"My precious precious baby" she kissed all over my face making me cry so she put the camera in front of her

"She was an a nightmare to give birth to ill tell you that" she shook her head "but I wouldn't have her any way"

The scene changed again as I took time to process what was actually going on

"Say hey Phoenix bonjour" I was a little toddler here, waddling around in a garden with paint splatters all over me

"H-hey" i gurgled out stumbling towards her "it's almost her birthday guys I can't wait" my younger self moved forward and smushed my lips to her cheek making me and her both giggle

"Hey Phoenix" the scene changed once more to an older looking Hazel sitting down a alone

"If your watching this then those were some of our favourite memories together but that doesn't mean I didn't cherish every second with you precious" she attempted to wipe her tears as she spoke

Tears ran down my own face as I watched her struggle to speak "people don't understand how truly amazing it is to be a mother and raising you Phoenix has been the best thing I've ever done, so if your watching this when your 10, 15 or even 20 just know that mum loves you yeah. I don't know what they're planning for me baby but it doesn't look good so you just have to remember how special you are" she urged on

"People are going to try and bring you down, bring down everything you've worked for but since you were a child Nyx you stood out to me with that fire in your eyes. I believe in you and you should to. One day perhaps you'll have children of your own" that seemed to make her cry more

"And I'll be a grandmother then and you'll understand the bond between a mother and child. You'll always be in my heart precious whether I'm laying underground or in the next life. I have to go now but I love you so much, my Phoenix" the video cut off there as I stared in shock

I couldn't speak as tears just ran down my face Nik embracing me into a big and letting me sob into his chest.

"He didn't attempt to shush me, or tell me it would all be okay and I'd feel better. He just held me and was there for me and that was one of the billion reasons I fell in love with him

"Oh come on Phoenix" Nik groaned impatient

"I'm coming I'm coming do you know how exhausting it is training over 500 agents a weak along with managing a multi millionaire organisation" I panted running down the stairs

"I guess you won't want to see the surprise then" he shrugged nonchalantly

Now that got me exited, I'm a sucker for surprises "um no I do" I walked up to him smiling trying to butter him up

"You have to give me something first" he smirked

"I've already given you my virginity you can't take that again" I smiled laughing at his face

"Sometimes I wonder why I'm your boyfriend" he shook his head kissing me on the lips before walking away with our hands connected, for in me to trail after him

"Wait hold up" I stopped extremely shocked

"Ive never asked you to be my boyfriend and you've never asked me to be my girlfriend" I realised

"Phoenix would you do me the honour of-" he began before I cut him off

"Nik will you be my girlfriend, hah take that I said it first" I sauntered victoriously over to him

"Yes now come on idiota" he shook his head leading me outside

"I can't believe it's been six months since I've been queen" I spoke breaking the peaceful silence

"You know what they say time goes by when your the queen and have a hot a girlfriend" he winked actually confusing me for a second

He took me to this huge field thingy where a table sat in the middle with a small box on

"Are you about to propose to me right now Nik we just became official" I joked approaching the box

"I'm not going to ask you to be my wife just yet" he smirked tagging along behind me excitedly might I add

He watched me closely as I opened the box my eyes widening in excitement once I saw what was inside

"Hold up does this mean" I looked at him astonished

"Yes everything's cleared" he smiled with me

I screamed in excitement and hugged him wrapping my legs around his waist kissing him straight on the lips

"Fuck where are we going first" I was exited

He brought a private jet in both of our names along with a map of places we'd both told each other we'd wanted to visit around the world

"Wherever you want to"
