Part 67

"Slater" I groaned turning my head to see Nikolai keeping next to me on his stomach with Slater jumping on his back, wearing green dinosaur shorts only.

"Mama" he grinned toothily clambering into my arms and pulling me into a hug, kissing my cheek, forehead and then nose. A habit he picked up from Nik.

"Can we go to the shooting range today mama" he giggled his small body resting comfortably on top of me, his head resting on my chest as I laid back down

"Maybe later amore it's still the middle of the night" I stroked his hair as Niks arm wrapped around my waist putting us in a position where Slater was lying in between us and mine and Niks arm wrapped around him.

"Uncle Alfie said that if we show Doja how to open her dog food she'll learn, is that true" he wondered curiously as we just wanted to sleep, his hands playing with the wedding ring on Niks hand.

"No it's not true don't believe what Alfie says" Nik mumbled putting his arm over his eyes

"Can we go watch the stars" Slater blurted as me and Nik chuckled having seen this coming

"Come on then let's go, after you change wake up Astrid" he gave him a piggy back ride to take him to his bedroom to put on warm clothes and came back whilst he was getting ready.

His arms wrapped around my waist as I spun around wearing my coat "Only the fifth time this week huh" he smiled kissing my lips softly

"Something about him and those stars" and it was true slater really did have an obsession with stars, despite only being 4 years old.

He took after a mix of me and Nikolai. He got my black hair, freckles and eye colour but Niks hair texture, smile and eyebrows.

He was extremely cheeky and a smartass but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Astrid took more after Nik. She had brown eyes and no freckles yet, with his smile and charm. She was only a year younger then Slater but her teachers think she'll be able to skip a year because of her knowledge.

"It's so fucking crazy how this all turned out" A piece of hair was tucked behind my ears as my hands rested on his neck

I hummed in agreement "but as cheesy as it sound I wouldn't have it any other way" I kissed him on the lips, once then twice then a third time

"I'm completely and utterly in love with you darling" he murmured as our lips pressed together

"As am I, till every star in the galaxy dies"

"Ew look at mama and papa" a little voice giggled from the doorway as both of our heads spun that way

We were greeted with the sight of Slater tying Astrids shoes as she pretended to puke at us.

"Oh come on give us a break" Nik joked picking her up as I picked up Slater, his arms going around my neck and his legs around me

We walked into the garden of the second house we'd moved into and laid on the couch/bed of sorts we'd had made out here so we could watch the stars.

"Love you guys" Slater muttered as Astrid followed seconds after as we laid there and listened to slater point out stars and teach us new constellations. Astrid told us about how one of the stars reminded us of a basketball she'd brought with me and amren the other day and how she couldn't wait to show us her tricks.

She jumped up to go show us now as Slater jumped up to go get his galaxy book. The two of them racing to there rooms and back, leaving just me and Nik under the stars.

"This is it huh" i smiled at him snuggling into his neck

"This is it" he sighed contently back pressing a kiss to the side of my head

And that's the story, every event decision and plan made all led to this

It all played a part in how I survived

I'll meet you in the next book, my little story teller. But for now my story ends here.

HDHDHDHDHDHHD ITS FINISHED OHMYGOD

I honestly can't even believe how I started this in March and already finished it it's crazy.

Anyways I've made a plan for my second book with Slaters love story of course Nik and Nyx will be mentioned and featured in the book but that also means there will be new characters

The next book will have drama, and lots of it. With missing people, secrets, betrayal and love look forward to a new book published in the next couple of days :)

As an inexperienced 15 year old writers first story it obviously wasn't the best but it was to the best of my ability for a beginner but the next book will be much more better written in terms of Vivian and plot lines. Tbf I didn't even expect this book to get half as many views then it has but I'm very grateful again thankyou😩
