*I made sure I changed into a sweatshirt I use to paint in and some sweatpants before I headed down.

"This wasn't really planned but we need to talk about our next move now" Kat began standing from here seat

"By using me you'd have an advantage you'd be stupid not to" Juliet spoke flinching when I walked past her and sat in a couch, Alfie and Elira taking either sides next me. Nik was sat on a single couch with Joanna on another single couch and Diana Kios sitting together

"Be quiet the adults are talking" Diana gave her a dirty look as everyone kept in a smile. I had a feeling they all knew why she had a bandaged side and was sitting weirdly.

"All in favour for using Janet" Kat asked

Nik and Kios's hand went up as everyone else's went down

"Now state your reasons" she dealt with this issue accordingly

Nik started "it's an easy way to get information, we'd have someone on the inside at all times"

"Information on what exactly" I cocked my head as his eyes roamed all over my face

"There's absolutely no information she can get us. Firstly what makes you think anyone's even going to trust her and secondly how do we know she won't switch or isn't a spy" I spoke slowly trying to get it in their thick heads

"Hell you blindly brought this person into our close circle when she could be getting information from us and giving it back to them" I leaned back in my seat raising an eyebrow as a tense silence followed, Janelle scoffing

"Something you'd like to say babe" I asked leaning forward, I really wouldn't mind stabbing her again

"Who even are you" she scoffed "like I doubt anyone in the underworld even knows who you are literally just leave" I guess stabbing her didn't teach her a lesson

"Honey I suggest you shut your mouth talking to my niece. Your acting like we can't delete you from existence right now" Diana chuckled

"She's right Janet" Nik leaned back in his seat "it was a mistake bringing you here. Please show yourself out. It was one thing everyone not agreeing with the plan but after disrespecting Phoenix you need to leave"

She looked shocked at that "b-but you need me"

"Get out of here" Kios threw his head back and laughed probably thinking it was a tv show or something and we wouldn't be able to hear him

"Leave before I get my other knife and stab it through your jugular vein" I threatened not even having to get my knife for her to get the point and scurry out as an awkward silence filled the room.

"From now on any decisions made about this situation is to be consulted and run through by every person here. We work together any objections say it now and you can leave" we all silently agreed on this as we scattered setting a meeting for the day after tomorrow at seven.

"Phoenix" Nikolai called after me as I was about to walk into my bedroom.

"What" I asked him my face and tone void of expression

He struggled with his words for a moment "I apologise darling" which honestly startled me because for as long as I've heard his name it was known he's never apologised to anyone

"For what exactly" I didn't even mean that in a rude way I truly wanted to know what exactly he was sorry for.

"Bringing her to our apartment" he scratched his head "making decisions without you and expecting you to just go along with it and letting her be rude towards you for so long" he spoke honestly
