"You're not going to drop the question are you?"

Pine-Tree thought for a moment. "Unless you say yes, NOPE!"

Bill sighed in annoyance and frustration, sick of the constant bugging from the boy in front of him. "Fine, tell ya what, kid. I'll let you go to your birth dimension... BUT the catch is you will be under STRICT rules."

Pine-Tree was overwhelmed with joy and excitement. Until Bill stopped him.

"Yeesh, kid! Relax! Don't get all excited yet, I haven't even told you the rules yet."

The boy nodded his head, eagerly listening to Bill.

"First of all, you'll be going to a place called Gravity Falls, it's on a planet called Earth in a state called Oregon. You'll be in a forest that surrounds a human town. Which brings us to the first official rule.

- You are NOT to go ANYWHERE near that town, it is VERY dangerous for you to go there alone.

Secondly, there will be beings there that do not look like humans or animals from that dimension, basically they leaked over from this dimension.

- You can interact with them, but keep it LIMITED. Also you are NOT to tell them the fact that you were born there.

Thirdly, there are also dangerous animals and beasts in that forest.

- You WILL stay near the shadows, if anything happens I won't be able to bring you back to The Nightmare Realm or The Mindscape if you are not near the shadows. If you just want to come back and aren't in danger, go into the darkest shadows and say my name.

Understand?"

Pine-Tree nodded but immediately was frightened when Bill turned red in front of him.

"AND IF YOU BREAK ANY OF THESE RULES YOU WILL BE HORRIBLY PUNISHED, AM I UNDERSTOOD?"

The boy gulped and nodded his head quicker this time. After that Bill turned back to his normal colors, "Great! Come with me." He said, flying off into the dark forest, Pine-Tree following close behind.

"Now, believe it or not kiddo, out of myself and the henchmaniacs, you're the only one who can travel to your birth dimension so easily." Bill explained.

Pine-Tree tilted his head. "Really? Why?"

"Because the rest of us are too powerful to get through, it would take either a portal between the dimensions or a rip between the two for us to get through. I can enter but only through peepholes that lead into the mindscape, and we've talked about the mindscape, it's how I make deals and-"

"Give people nightmares!" The duo exclaimed in unison.

Bill laughed at how much the kid seemed amused saying that. "Attaboy! But you on the other hand can go straight into physical form. That's why I gave you all those rules, because those worthless flesh sacks will be able to see and interact with you."

With that, the two made it to a clearing in the forest. "Are you sure you want to go, Pine-Tree?"

The boy nodded his head with excitement.

"Alright, off you go then, remember what I told you." Bill said, snapping his fingers. A bright blue portal appeared in front of the kid, who looked at it with curiosity and overwhelming delight but before he went off to explore a new place he had one thing to do first.

Bill was taken by surprise when two little arms wrapped around his triangular shape. The demon patted the boy's head before shooing him into the portal.

He will never admit it... but he enjoyed that little hug.

Pine-Tree stepped through the portal and was immediately astounded by what he saw. There was color everywhere! And not like The Nightmare Realm's sky... Organized was the best way he could describe it. The trees and grass were green! Unlike The Nightmare Realm's black trees and grass. And there were these colorful, good smelling plants on the ground and on bushes. The whole forest smelled fresh and organic. The sounds were incredible too! The sounds of the leaves and grass blowing with the wind was amazing!

He also heard the sound of flowing water, he made his way towards the sound and the sight was mesmerizing to say the least. He entered an area with a beautiful crystal clear lake with a waterfall at the end. There were plants and bugs everywhere and trees that lined the edge of the forest with a nice shadow that protected it from the sun.

He wanted to run and jump in the lake but unfortunately there were no shadows over the lake and Bill told him to stay near the shadows. So he fought his urge. He'd have to wait until the sun went behind the trees. Until then, he went back into the forest, walking on the roots of the trees, stumbling every now and then. But rustling in the bush next to him got him started, staring at it with wide eyes, unable to move, and then!

A tiny little black and white bunny popped out of it. "Awwwwhh! Hey there!" Pine-Tree said, walking up to it, wanting to pet it, but it quickly hopped away from him. "O-Oh... another time then!" The boy smiled and continued on, skipping around the forest, picking up a small bouquet of all different colored flowers. Oh how it smelled so nice! He loved it.

He spent hours just running around the forest, jumping on roots, finding animals, catching lizards, and just having fun. Eventually the sun had fallen and it was getting dark, and in fact, Pine-Tree started getting a little tired, putting his flowers down and brushing himself off, he was ready to go back home.

The boy made his way into a dark shadow and called out to Bill, within seconds he was back in the cleared forest of the Nightmare Realm with Bill standing in front of him.

"So- did you enjoy yourself, Pine-Tree?" Bill asked.

The boy's smile widened. "I loved it!! It's so colorful there! And the colors and the sounds! All the animals! It was so amazing! And there are these colorful plants on the ground and they smell SO GOOD! But the red ones have sharp things on them that hurt you when you touch it."

Bill laughed, "Sounds like you had an eventful evening, but now it's time for bed. Come on, kiddo."

Bill brought the boy back home and sent him up to his room.

Pine-Tree was so happy. He wrote everything he experienced and saw in his journal, which now had the number 2 on it since he used all the pages on the first one.

The boy yawned, putting his head down on his desk, falling into a deep sleep.

What a wonderful day he had.
