~A day or so earlier~

"I-I'm s-sorry s-sir! I- I-..."

"I- I- I-! SPIT IT OUT! CAN YOU EXPLAIN TO ME WHY, EVEN THOUGH I TOLD YOU NOT TO YOU STILL SPOKE TO HIM??" Bill yelled at Ensley who was shaking and cowering in front of him, tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

"I- I know y-you did... I- J-Just thought since he w-was older m-maybe it was o-ok-kay..."

"IF YOU MAKE HIM CLING TO YOU NOW HE MIGHT NOT BE STRONG ENOUGH- Wait..." A shocking realization hit the demon like a high-speed train, he went back to his normal size and turned from his fiery red to his normal yellow color.

"The more people he clings to here, the less likely he'll want to be with his human family- that is if he finds out the truth..." he whispered, just soft enough so no one but him could hear.

"You, little fairy, are a genius." Bill said to her, it was obvious he had a plan.

Ensley looked up at him, confusion and curiosity plastered on her face. "I- I am?" She asked, still frightened.

"Why yes!" Bill replied, picking her up by her wings and up to his eye level, her wincing in discomfort.

"You see, if Pine-Tree finds out that his biological family is from this dimension, he could decide to side with them and try to take me down. Of course he wouldn't be able to, he's far too weak for that, but the magic I taught him certainly would help them." He said. "I can't have that. So, if I made it where he had more friends here, then he wouldn't choose those pathetic meatsacks."

Ensley tilted her head. "B-But- aren't humans d-drawn to other humans? Are you sure it would work?" She asked. Bill suddenly turned red again, immediate regret taking over the fairy.

"NEVER. QUESTION. ME. DO WHAT I SAID!" He yelled, throwing her across the room, luckily she had wings and was able to fly up and soften her landing, she ran out of the room still shaken up and scared but also a bit happy, she got to talk to Pine-Tree more now!

~Back to the present~

Pine-Tree was walking back into the throne room, hopefully going to see Bill, but when he walked in, of course the demon wasn't there, but the rest of his friends were and they gladly let the kid bud into their conversations. They were just talking nonsense really. By now Bill had already built his throne of frozen human agony.

Pine-Tree didn't fully mind as Bill told him they all deserved it for all the horrible things they've done and passed on in this dimension. He was giving them a fresh start with a new generation!

Good thing Bill got here! This dimension must have been a horrible and dangerous place to be in! Bill said none of them knew how to have fun and let go, said they were always tied to laws and rules. Of course, Pine-Tree had rules too but Bill said his aren't nearly as bad as what the people here had. The boy was grateful for that; It's better than to be held down by shackles that posed as laws.

Pine-Tree heard some slight whispering from behind him, when he turned to look he saw someone! A human! Hiding behind a pillar! She dressed in blue and had a really bad haircut, as if someone went through one strip of her scalp with a razor in front of her was another person who seemed to be holding a camera towards her. Before he could say or do anything about it, an eye-bat had noticed her and already turned her to stone. Without even knowing it, the 12 year old smiled at the sight. Every person being frozen was putting him and Bill one step closer to fixing this dimension! It was perfect! He would help with this, all his friends were here, Bill was here, Ensley was talking to him again, everything was perfect!

~

"I'm insane either way, brainiac!" Bill laughed at the old man in front of him. "But if you want to have it your way so bad, well, so be it! I'll just fish around and get the equation to get out of this town, DIRECTLY OUT OF YOUR MIND!" He shouted, turning to stone and flying up into the mindscape until Ford stopped him.

"Not so fast! You know the rules Bill."

The demon went out of the mindscape and back into his physical form with a pondering expression on his face.

"You may be able to haunt my dreams, but you can't enter my mind unless I shake your hand and let you in! You're never getting the equation!" Ford said triumphantly.

Bill rolled his eye. "Ya know, I'm not the biggest fan of torturing you while my little sapling is here, he might hear your screams. But you're making this so much harder than it really needs to be." He said as Ford's wrists, ankles, and neck were shackled with bright, glowing blue chains and he was brought up to Bill's eye. "Every single being has a weakness, tough guy, I'll make you talk; it's only a matter of time."

Ford screamed in anger, regret, and even a bit of fright. Little did he know what was actually going to happen to him for daring to hide information from Bill Cipher.

"Grunkle Stan... is- this is- real? He's my..." Mabel kept asking, desperate for her questions to be answered.

Stan nodded, looking down. "Yes, kiddo. He's your lost twin brother. I'd- I'd recognize him anywhere."

"How? How are you sure! Wha- what if- how would- wait! But he has Blue eyes, mine are brown! It's impossible for him to be my twin! Our eyes are different!" Mabel exclaimed. Until Jeff budded in. "Yeah, just as impossible as a giant Dorito coming out of the sky and destroying the place?! Think about it, he could be your twin!"

"Well, if you look at him; He doesn't look anything like the other demons, he's definitely a human." Candy said.

Grenda also came forward offering her thoughts. "Yeah- and he's for sure the same age as you, and if you give him brown eyes-" she paused the television where Pine-Tree was facing the camera and used a brown marker to color his eyes brown on the glass. "He looks exactly like you, he's gotta be your twin!"

Mabel's eyes weld up with tears that started falling one by one. "My- my own brother betrayed me!" She cried out, falling into Grenda and Candy's arms as they tried to comfort their friend to the best of their ability.

She wiped her tears away and straightened herself. "So what if he's my brother? He doesn't know who I really am and look-" she pointed at the boy on the television. "He's one of them now. He probably doesn't even think of himself as a human..." She wiped more tears from her eyes as they came back.

"Maybe he doesn't see himself as a human, but you saw him down in the lab, he was scared of us, that means he still has human emotions. There's still a human in that kid." Stan said. "He'll find his own way back to us. Until then, let's stay here where we're safe."

Mabel was caught off guard. "No! I can't just sit here and- and do nothing! There's a town, a Great Uncle, and a lost twin brother in need of saving!"

As Mabel kept protesting her great uncle's decision, eventually she decided that she would come up with an escape plan herself, but she knew she'd need some help.
